    Comments on the safety play......

    Where was Jimmy Wilson?

I saw Michael Thomas led the team in tackles with 5. Does that mean anything?

Watch the replay of the game...look for tackles...look as FAR as away from them as you can...you'll find Jimmy.

I know I am a little bit off topic, but I am quite scared about our safeties, because, with Jones out for 4 games, if anything happens to Delmas (by the way, he seems to miss many tackles, it's just my impressione?), we could have a seroius problems

Well I agree if Delmas goes down early we would be screwed but we could say that about quite a few guys.

I think our corners are good enough that losing Jones won't cripple us and with our pass rush our pass defense could be scary good once he's back.

My main concern defensively is still our LB core even though I thought the play was much improved agaibst Dallas.

I have noticed missed tackles from Delmas and Wilson in the first 2 games. I think Delmas may have missed another one last night. But, they have not had really noticeable coverage breakdowns. So...there's that I guess. They haven't really given me a reason to be scared so far.

You're right and what team could lost his 2 starting safeties and being fine? but for me it was more like a realization of how much we need Delmas to be healthy and good, after the jones suspension (yeah, kinda of obvious, I know :pointlol:)

They seemed to be alright in coverage. We didn't give up any deep balls until late in the game when they were out.

Well one thing not being discussed too much today is that cowboys offense is pretty good and we held them to 6 pts. Our defense looked pretty good last night. Wake is ready for a 15+ sack season it looks like.

I remember reading about how we should trade Wake this offseason..he played hurt last year and was still our best player…people just need to accept they truly are watching greatness with him. He is an absolute animal on the field…and a great character guy as well. He is the best player we have had in a Dolphins uniform in a long time. He deserves more credit than he gets…its Watt, Wake, and the rest IMO.
