Claim Lache Seastrunk and send Darkwa or Williams to the PS! Though pretty surprised how many UDFA made it to the final cut.
I'd say it is well above the league average. They mentioned during the game the other night, how many UDFAs made it league wide last year, and seems like the number was about an average of 1.5 per team.
Who's the 6th that I'm missing? Anthony Johnson and McCain on defense. Darkwa, Williams, and Hoskins on offense.
This is the first time I remember, that the team and I are on the exact same page cut-wise. Yes, I'm aware that's probably a terrible sign for the season, so shut up.
New GM, new offense, new OC. But still, it is surprising the number that made it to the final roster.
Sounds like a Tight end will be added in the near future. Hopefully they consider adding a safety with some experience too. Major Wright could be had for a song and he has over 40 NFL starts and can play special teams..
I dunno. As near as I can tell, all 6 who made it, totally earned it. I doubt Hickey kept extra UDFAs in an attempt to make himself look good.

This is the first time in years I feel like they really got it right in terms of who they kept and cut. Good decision-making gives me hope, for some reason. Hope it keeps up!!!
This was the easiest final cut down to guess ahead of time that I can ever remember. The only player they kept that I never predicted them to keep in that other thread was Freeny.
Well all I know from the last few years is this roster is still not settled. I expect alot more movement in the next day or so. I am happy with the roster at this point. I think they did about as good as they could given the players they had available.
I generally agree with the cut decisions. I think there are some upgrade needs at T (Fox) and LB (Freeney). Bolluck (sp?) and Skov are guys that I remember liking coming out that may be upgrades from Freeney. Haven't seen the T cuts out there but Fox was so bad that almost anybody would be an upgrade. And even though I like Darkwa and Williams, Seastrunk seems like such a perfect fit for this offense. I know they're looking at TEs but I hope Gator makes it. He has intriguing skills I'd like to see developed. He could potentially be a Clay replacement if Clay's knee acts up.
I think it's a good looking roster. I'd be very pleased if Hickey could sniff out another gem or two, maybe even just an upgrade at a couple of spots. Are the reserve/injured and reserve/suspended by Commissioner part of the 53? Too lazy to count.
Would have liked to have an extra corner versus 10 O-line. I think we could have dropped Thomas and we can easily replace Fox once we comb though other cuts. He was not very good so finding someone to be slightly better than that shouldn't be completely out of the question. But I truly hope we add another corner given how much of a passing league it is an Jamar Taylor history of injuries. Just makes me nervous.
