On the Andy Griffith Show, Andy's nickname was Ang, Barney's nickname was Barn, Opie's was Ope, Gomer's was Gome, etc. So you did all the LBs that way, except Koa. He'd be Ko, using the Mayberry abbreviation. You started a new trend. I like it.
Really, it's like 8 OL. Fox is still there because Turner is nursing a turf toe, evidently not real severe. As that heals up he will be redundant. And, Satele is sure to go, imo, when Pouncey becomes healthy. I think when those two go, it will be right about when the two suspendeds get back after week 4. But, of course, there could also be adjustments after the waiver wire is scanned.
Bullough really interests me. Seastrunk as well. But not McFadden. Given what we have in Tripp and McCain .... not sure I think Skov will do much.
Since by his being a vested veteran, Satele's entire yearly salary is guaranteed once he's been on a 53 man roster for week 1. So, even when Pouncey comes back, Satele is being paid whether he stays or goes, so may as well keep him as a backup. Same for Colledge, if Turner eventually beats him out during the season.
Glad to see they kept Williams. He could be an offensive threat yet. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
So Fede made it , and Sam didn't . How are those seventh round comments by the draft talking heads sounding now ?
I'd keep Satele too, but I think I read that close to half his contract is in per-game roster bonuses. Since those aren't guaranteed for vested veterans, it suggests that team at least considered the possibility of cutting him when Pouncey is back.
