NFL should post all of these waiver moves. Be nice if they would do that.

Hopefully Egnew does well in his next occupation because playing in the NFL isn't for him.

I don't like the two moves. Y no release Fox and Dallas? they are keeping players bc of perceived need for OL rather than based on contribution.

I think the only individuals in South Florida who have any interest in the Dolphins signing Seastrunk are a few of the fans on this forum. I don't think Hickey has any interest in signing him at all. I think he feels that the two young RB's they kept, along with Moreno and Miller, are better than Seastrunk.

I stick by what I stated earlier. If Seastrunk couldn't make a very mediocre Redskins team, I really don't see why the Dolphins would have any interest in him. He may have been a decent player in college, but that doesn't mean he is good enough to make it as an NFL RB.

The odds of us signing him are extremely slim and I like the guys we have, especially Williams.. but you can never have enough game changers and speed kills. He doesn't have to make the 53, but there's no reason not to have him on the practice squad if he is on Miami's radar. Also I wouldn't knock the Skins RB core, they had a bunch of good ones before cuts began.

Not sure why you say that...he was probably one of our better blockers last season. But hes not an inline TE, and he wasnt going to beat out Charles Clay. Dion Sims is a better blocker...

I wont be suprised at all to see him turn into a solid NFL TE.

At the very least he will float around a few years on the bottom of non-contending rosters hoping to capitalize on his athletic ability

They did, indeed. Maybe we should consider bringing him back?

IMO, it should be no maybe. It should be a definite interest. If it were up to me, sign him and start him week 1. Move Wilson back to nickel back.

I would really like to know why he was cut. He graded out positively as the only member of the Texans Secondary on PFF with a +2.8 for the Preseason. I would gladly have him back, but Houston has to have a reason for cutting him, so I'll have to wait if there is more to it.

I'd rather have Clemons than Ross for safety depth, but that's just me.

The Texans apparently get Daniael Manning back, which makes Clemons expandable for them. If that is the only reason for him getting cut, well go get him Hickey!

Yeh...Id be pretty psyched to get Clemons back for sure...

    Which means we wont.

I usually feel that way, but since Hickey's been here, it seems like they are often reading my mind.

OK, so Clemons is a FA because he is a 4-year vet and Phins are free to negotiate with him.

7th that can be a 6th based on playing time.

Do you mean if we want him or if we want to negotiate? I'm confident he would be a good get. A known quantity, very familiar w/ our D.

Seamster and Ross for Jones and Williams, this has to be dumbest thing Hickey has done yet.
Decisions like this are little signs of incompetence.

I'm not sure any of our rookies are better than Silas Redd. Not sure I'd take miller over Helu, and not many would take Moreno over Morris.

Seamster for Jones, I can live with that. But cutting a very good WR for a crappy safety doesn't thrill me very well.

Agreed, Clean. I think this was a move for Week 1. Both clams have been decent ST players -- and our backs our going to need the blow vs. New England's offensive. But do we really need to keep 10 OL? Jason Fox?

If a WR gets injured in Week 1, you're going to be happy you held onto Williams. No way Fox stays on this roster all year. Curious decision.

I thought Williams looked more comfortable in the return game, also. Landry scares me a bit.

Actually, Ross is the special team replacement for Jones. While he is not a good safety, he is better than Jones. Seamster is a CB. We needed a fifth CB. Jones was definitely not a CB. Also, Seamster did reasonably well with special teams. We definitely need help fixing special teams.

It's way too premature to go negative on Hickey...he's had a great year so far and all but 1 of his draft picks made the team. Jones has been on the bubble for a while now so that's not a shocker, but I was upset to see Williams go. Still though, I trust in Hickey FOR NOW...so far he has looked like a definite upgrade over his predecessor.

actually its comments like this from you that shows yours, you know nothing about the players we picked up , they had seamster in for a workout in april, they know him...... time to realize that we would have never brought 6 active WR's to a game.

there is not one "very good" 6th receiver on any team in this league, so your wording kind of sucked

No. I'll call him for every dumb thing he does. He does not get the benefit of a doubt, no one does. Same goes for everyone. That's why fans here don't like me. I'll call out everyone on the team and shat on them.
