Just purely from a football fan's perspective, but I could watch the Seahawks play defense all day long. And the 49ers when they've got their full starting lineup.

    If Percy Harvin stays healthy...wow.

    We can beat these Packers.
I know Seattle D is swarming but their pass rush has not been effective at all, I think ours is better. They just don't give up extra yards and they've stuffed the Packers' run.
Pack have weaknesses at LB and DB we can exploit all day, and we can protect against their front. They don't impress me.

I hope rodgers comes out on fire in the second half, I'm looking pretty dumb starting rodgers with Wilson on the bench.

So, who are the 9 you'd take ahead of him?

    Ahead: Manning, Rodgers, Brady, Brees

Even: Luck, Rivers, Flacco, Eli, Roethlisberger

Behind: Stafford, Romo, Ryan, Kap, Foles, Cutler, etc.

Might be forgetting some, but I think it's reasonable to call Wilson a Top 10 QB.

What was that play on 3rd and short from Rodgers? Just get the first down. One of the weirdest decisions I've ever seen an elite QB make.

You have to watch the Intricacies of the position while under extreme pressure, watching a game like this right now isnt going to highlight what he does consistently over a season in terms of making plays under critical situational conditions..his greatness is determined in how he picks and chooses when and how he makes those plays, his greatness comes out when those clutch moments arise..he can do whatever he wants, right now he's just choosing to manage.

Wilson is unreal. The D just can't get to him. He and Lynch are the most elusive backfield duo in the NFL in decades, maybe ever. Wilson is what Johnny Football is supposed to be.

He's not looked very sharp tonight. Especially considering SEA is giving them the gift of leaving Sherman on Boykin.

Game managers, in the context that some are using when describing this dude is way off, game managers do not have elite playmaking ability, that's why you call them game managers, Wilson can be both, his choice.

    M. Lynch is going to make me a rich man by the end of the week. Already over 14 fantasy points. Thank you, read option.

He better think again. I also have L. McCoy on my fantasy team. I chose my RBs based on the read option, lol. Easy money.

Hes definitely has elite pocket presence, escapability, play breakdown play making... And I guess since he just won you can say that's enough. He's definitely not elite from the pocket though, just good. Definitely good enough to build around though.

There's some shady business with the play-clock. They really seem know how to get away with those shenanigans in New England and Seattle.

he's one of two qbs to post above a 100 passer rating inside and outside the pocket.

He will do whatever it takes, whenever that time comes, to win..this is the players third year, he's great, he's already proved it, especially relative to any other 2nd year Qb..most wins ever for a Qb in his third.

It's bizarre... They go to 1 receiver 1st and 2nd down and then shotgun full spread...

Why.. because they're both white? That and their position are only similarities they share.

I will say this though...Wilson had 2 sure INTs dropped. Aside from that, he's been stellar.

Not saying it's not effective, but the style of play and passes he throws are extremely favorable to having a high QB rating. See Luck's rating for an example of the opposite.

Wow. Seattle looks like a team that could repeat. Seriously. Not sure who's gonna go into that stadium and beat them.

The balance, the playmakers, the coaches, the home field...jeez.

I love Seattle's playcalling. They call for quick passes. Completely negates Peppers and Matthews.

Ok, his passes are hi percentage, I can dig it, but, he's the best playmaker the position has to offer, you must quantify that into the overall grade..his runs, and his ability to complete the ball on the run, are exceptional, his play from the pocket, pretty good..all Of it combined equals great.
