Yes, and no it was not the correct call. Nobody, outside of New England, would agree with you. Bad call and it handed you the game.
That call is still ridiculous. He was clearly trying to gather the ball in, not bat it away. Only those rose colored Pat's fan glasses can't see not only that but the numerous calls that they have received over the years against all teams. That is not to diminish how great they have been, but to deny they have been on the positive end of more than just a few questionable calls is just denial.
Why am i not surprised the cheatriots think that was the right call? He was going for the ball, not trying to swat it. Lmao. Worst call ive seen in a while.
Again, our defense put up the following numbers that game: 6 sacks, 2 INT, 1 FF. That had nothing to do with any call by the officials. Take a look at most of our games from 2013. We were terrible in the first half of many of those games, and we turned it on in the 2nd half. Same thing happened in that game. It was the right call. But even if it wasn't, the refs more than made up for it with the non-call on Gronk against Carolina, and with the non-call against Miami at the end of the game (which ironically resulted in a Miami win.)
You realize he played with a hand injury for most of last year, right? Still managed to make it to the AFCCG with mostly rookies and no names playing WR and with a decimated defense. Not too shabby.
Two division rivals made Tannehill look poor, and one division rival made Tannehill look like a franchise QB. It's funny that fans of the latter are trolling this board talking about inferior teams and bye weeks.
Right you are. The guy is a trooper. There's no way menstrual cramps keep Tom Brady off the field for the season opener against a division rival. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
I love when the other team comes to the board and talks trash. That's what makes rivalries fun. They are delusional but that just adds to the comedy.
Since my thread was officially hijacked, I'll just add in that Miami is going to make Brady's calf an issue whether he likes it or not. With that said, let the hijacking resume. =)
You know what your dealing with intellectually when a fan cannot be objective on that call.. The play was a great effort from start to finish, he did everything right in a pivitol part if the game, game probably would of been over at that point..we were up by three scores I believe.
Too bad some of us still remember 21 games in a row a few years back...ah well, trolls gotta troll...Maybe you can borrow some of Brady's vagisil....
Aside from Brady the Patriots probably have the worst talent in the division. Most of the teams have a better or comparable offensive line, most have a better defensive line, most have at least a comparable secondary and linebacker core. The Patriot receivers are easily the worst in division. Gronk will be a big plus if healthy but Brady makes this thing tick. So lets make it difficult for him.
