Hey Rocky hopefully your sig represents what we do to Geno this Sunday. Happy for your Fins this last Sunday pal. Hope they keep up the good work.
Well, the bad news is that at Cal he had off the field issues. I believe the first was academic and work/attitude related. Then he redeemed himself and was back on the team, then got kicked off the team. The digging I did suggested he may have had a "Me" attitude instead of a team attitude, but that's speculative. I have no hard sources on this. Maybe a guy like X or a Cal alumnus can enlighten us?
FWIW, Omar reported that he had some sort of hip injury the week leading up to the Patriots game. If that's true, perhaps he re-aggravated it? If not that, then I don't know. In other news, James Walker reported that Randy Starks was in a boot at practice today...haven't seen any corroboration on that. If true...YIKES. He'd be a big loss, especially this week.
Actually what really got him into trouble at Cal is when he threatened to punch out the physical conditioning coach because he thought he was disrespecting him. At least he didnt punch his GF.

Going back and forth with Jet fans on their boards. I told them Miami is going to win your division and they didn't like that lol.
James Walker was the only one I've seen report it. It's on the Dolphins blog on ESPN.com - that's where I read it. Edit - I think Beasley just tweeted it as well.
Interesting that you're so respectful and friendly with us and stir the pot with them. Don't like Jets fans, Arodgers?
@AbramsonPBP 1m Philbin on Chris McCain, who has been sick: "Hopefully we'll get him on the field as soon as we can."
LOL! Keep it up Arodgers! Love to see those guys stirred up! And kick their collective butts this weekend!
I told them I would be back on their boards win or lose Monday to say good game or congratulate them if they win. Nah I don't care for them. They are to you as the Bears are to us. I would love to get together with all you Dolphin fans someday and tailgate. Lets make it happen someday.
maybe you can get me a little inside scoop here, week 1 packers @ hawks, cobb played the whole game in the slot, i thought they would move him around the formation a little more, kind of like percy harvin was used by seattle, is that gonna be it for him....playing in the slot all game ?
No I don't think so. I think he only did that because of going up against the best corner in the game Richard Sherman. They didn't want to throw to his area. Other then that I cant imagine the Pack doing that. Sherman was on Boykin too. That guy is our worst receiver by far. They have to use Cobb at his best because right now he is the only explosive receiver they have left besides Nelson.
Listed as Probable which means he'll play. But they're still probably going to use him as just a situational rusher which I think is a mistake.
If they're going to continue running the 3-4 package from last week, I think that would be my preference. Better him than Wheeler at SOLB, but I don't think I'd like him over Vernon at WOLB.
The only player who can be exempt from practice. He can just show up with no preparation and dominate on Sunday. Never seen anything like it.
Something else I thought of with Bears fans. After that Super Fans skit they used to do on SNL, with George Wendt, Chris Farley, et al, I've always thought of Bears fans as being just like those guys.
Who? I can think of one player from years ago who was like that for us. Keith Jackson. When we signed him, he wasn't up to speed on the playbook before he played in a game for us. But he went out there the first week and put up big numbers.
McCain. This dude is unreal. For what he needs to do, he can go on instincts and atheltic ability and dominate without any practice time. And it's even better that he does not practice because he then just does it naturally without thinking.
