Beating the Pats to start the season pumped us up. In the past, the Dolphins always liked to get our hopes up only to crush them. They can prevent that by going into Buffalo and taking care of business.
come on all dolphins !!!! Miami 27 Buffalo 14 DDD nearest getting your brains time to rock n roll eat is d traingoing
Also, WADR, I think that is something of a cop out. We aren't talking college ball here, these are the big leagues where everyone knows that it's hard to win games even against #32. Even Oakland and Jax, teams without much of anything, still put up some resistance against the high ranked teams and often are leading at some point in the game. That loss against Buff was absolutely on the players AND coaches. At this level guys have to adapt even if they are facing their "hard counter" counterparts. I'm not saying personnel matchups don't play no role, they do, but you cannot take an ***-kicking like that and say "Oh yeah, bad match-up, out of our hands." I get that they were emotionally spent but you'd think the opportunity at the playoffs, redemption in a sense, would have motivated them to go all out. If we were 4-11 going into week 17 then yeah I can see us getting blown out by a horrible JEST team at home but 8-7 with some control over your destiny? That's like giving up on the prom after asking only one girl out and getting rejected. There was still time, still opportunities that could motivate you to get back on the horse. But evidently it wasn't enough. Here I agree.
I'll take any road win I can get. At home I think its important to show a bit of dominance but obviously it can't happen every week.
Yes, I expect the Phins to dominate the Bills. Bills D is no better than the Pats, and we had a chance to put up 50 on the Pats. I have some minor concerns. Bills play 4-3 compared to Pats 3-4, so O blocking scheme will have to adjust. But we overcame 3 turnovers and kept rolling. Bills O is not better than the Pats. I am concerned abut turnovers. I think RT will turn it over, I expect 2 ints, but I am not sure our D will be able to even it out because getting to Manuel (less passing snaps, quicker release, mobility) will be more difficult and I do not think our DBs can step up like the DL stepped up to create needed turnovers.
Yes I think Aqua4Ever is of the faction that places all the blame on Wallace for not being able to catch the pass that led him too close to the sideline while also keeping his feet both inbounds.
I respectfully do not agree. These are big boys. This is not middle school and everyone is promised a visit to Chuckie Cheese if they win.
I'm not sure last year has much to do with this year. A tough road win and no more injuries= I'm on the bandwagon. Right now I will stick with cautiously optimistic. I'm flying down for the Chiefs. I feel real good about that one because they truly suck. Would love to have a beer with any of you pre game.
