Knowshon Moreno UPDATE-Sounds like 1 month

I would love to open up against the Chiefs with those two, change of pace and I do have a good feeling in these two, more so with Williams than Darkwa but right now I have more confidence in Darkwa than Miller.

 

Really bummed about Moreno but hopeful he can come back fairly quicly. I remember a back who wore a big old elbow brace but I can't remember who it was? Oh well, I do believe our ground game takes a major step back w/out him.

 

Miller has talent, he's like RT playing running back - needs to snap out of it

 

Tell me what you like in Miller because I have not been able to see it.I feel like I must be missing something because I do not see the results from him

I wish he would start flashing some of it because he is quickly testing the patience of the fan base and I would imagine the coaching staff soon enough. He looks so athletic but always seems to be off balance. Very frustrating

 

I truly hope he does but I don't have a lot of confidence in it. He lacks fire in his game and balance surprisingly. His lack of concentration in the passing game is mind numbing. Someone needs to step up with Moreno out. Who is going to get those tough yards for us?

 

Damien Williams needs to start. He looked like the better back between him and Miller. Losing Knowshon really sucks. He was one guy we really couldn't afford to lose.

 

At least the Jets lost in demoralizing fashion.

 

Hope for me is that he's ready after the Bye week... let's try to beat the chiefs... we should beat the Raiders... if we beat the chiefs we should be going to the Bye week 3-1.. and in time for Moreno.. even if we end up 2-2 after the Bye that's still good..

 

Moreno is 4-8 weeks last word. Maybe that gets shortened, he seems to get over stuff fairly well (did in the pre-season anyway).

 

Damnit.

 

Moreno certainly has performed much better than expected. With all the time he missed in camp, and reports of him being out of shape, I didn't think he'd contribute much, but he has really been impressive. I hate to say it, but the load is going to rest on Tannehill's shoulders. The passing game will need to be effective, and hopefully the RB platoon can provide some semblance of a running game. It'll be an interesting couple of games, but the Chiefs and Raiders are a combined 0-4, so this setback doesn't have to be a death-blow. Time for the QB to lead his team to a couple of wins.

 

Miller needs to be benched. He's pathetic.

 

Yeah, snap out of the NFL.

 

I hate the Bills more now if that's even possible.

 

Miller is not Moreno, but Miller ran for 4.2 a pop. He was alright.

 

I get a sense that Miller is the anti-Ricky: the more carries you give him, the worse he does.

 

The best chance Miller's had to show his speed here, was last year against the Bengals, and he lets a DE run him down from behind and strip the ball.

 

Darkwa can definitely catch. I do not recall him dropping any gimme passes in preseason, while making some clutch catches in the process.

Preseason...thrown to 8 times, with 7 catches, and no drops.

 

Yep. He is always falling down. It baffles me everytime how he stumbles over a blade of grass and then proceeds to face plants into,the ground or into the back of his blockers legs. He is consistent at that, miller is. He has talent but he isnt a #1. DT anyone?

 

That Injury looked more like the two month kind then the one month variety..is he having surgery? Wheres our girl.

 

Last year I called it OFA syndrome..." Open field anxiety"..lol

 

Does Miller have Hartline Disease, or does Hartline have Miller Disease?
