Really surprised this wasnt posted. Great news, especially with Smith out. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/140771/mike-pouncey-returns-to-dolphins-practice
Nice to hear some good news. We really need a win this weekend. It's not "must win", but I really don't want to go through another week of web browsing after a Dolphins loss. Man, life's tough!
Its not must win in the strictest sense but as far as early season games go I think its close. Why? 1) Obviously 1-2 looks a lot worse than 2-1 2) Two home wins in a row sends the message that you're going to defend your home turf. 3) A solid win an you regain some of the momentum from week one. Buffalo looks more like a bad matchup on a bad day if you come out strong. 4) Two losses in a row is just bad for confidence.
We need to win our home games, period. This is not the kind of team that can step into away stadiums and hold their own so if we have any hope at the playoffs we need to get as many Ws at Sun Life as we can.
Agreed. Home field advantage has seemingly been a huge factor in these first two games, for both the Phins and the Bills. So with regards to winning home games I'm on board with you there.
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP 18m Wallace on Pouncey: "He’s our general on offense. He sets the tone, he gets the huddle going. We need him back out here as soon as possible" Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP 22m Satele tells me he played guard in college and started camp his rookie year with Fins as OG. But that's not on his mind until Pouncey's back
Either we start getting some work out of our pro-bowl center or we ship him out for a decent pick next year or some LBs that are worth a damn.
Satele is going to the bench once Pouncey is back. Think they would try Turner at RG if Thomas can't hold it before looking at Satele.
I hope he plays soon! We need depth on the Oline! Tanny needs protection! I'm so ecstatic!!! /sick's enthusiasm
