Okay, so what? Everyone needs to play better. Wallace and Moreno are really the only two guys who are safe from criticism after last week.

You guys take what players and coaches say to the media far too seriously and literally. What is he suppose to say? My QB rating would be over a hundred if my receivers could catch (it would)?

I'll be very disheartened if he doesn't have an awesome game this weekend. 2 games in a row where his accuracy is in serious question. He needs to grow some balls and dominate a game right now. It would be nice to see some fire from him once in a while. Yell, scream, *****, pout....idc just motivate your players around you.

I am starting to get more uncertain about Tanny's future as the leader of this team. I have always been a fan and supporter of his and have always loved how he took ownership of any problems w/ his performance or the offense in general, and also that he has never been a finger pointer. Lots of class and you can't question his work effort. Good kid and I hope he does make some steps to be our QB of the future.

So far this week both Tannehill and Lazar have stepped forward and been accountable for their performances...

But we are still waiting for Philbin to step up and admit he has been a sorry excuse for a coach.

I think he's probably hearing the same thing from the coaches in the team's film study.

I would add Branden Albert and Ja'Wuan James to that list. At the very least, they played well enough that they shouldn't be ashamed like the rest of the offense.

I still believe in Ryan Tannehill, and this would be a good week to turn it around. He plays so much better at home and the Chiefs are struggling defensively.

His confidence is in the dumps at the moment. He and Lazor have to work together this week to get him out of his slump.

Albert, maybe. James played a solid game.

Take it how you will. I'm pretty much done with the idea of Tannehill being the guy long term, but, we are tied for the league lead in dropped pass percentage (with the Giants) and tops in absolute drops.

These next 2 games COULD be good confidence builders for Tannehill. I'm not doubting him yet, I'm a huge fan and supporter of his. But if he has 2 clunkers against the Chiefs and Raiders heading into the bye week, things could get ugly. And as much as I am a supporter of his, I'm also at the point of "I don't care who QBs this team anymore. I just want wins." That's it. I do think he needs this season to see what he is. And let's face it, if he fails, everyone is gone. A lot riding on this season for sure.

Well, this is half of the fun, Tannehill has to put the performance curve from mediocre to "growth"

Think ST is massively on the hook and think DTrain was signed to help shore up that unit and Rb blocking, not for his ability to run the ball or catch it.

Tho Miller..c'mon man, there is big time, then there is what he has been doing

Watching every drop back does put it in perspective. The lack of a run threat and Buffalo swarming on all the short stuff didn't help Tannehill. He had Wallace deep. He needs to make that throw, but there were some bad drops. It's not all sky is falling. I'm just tired of these discussions.

Meh, he'll turn it around this week and then have a decent week four, stink it up in the fifth game, play well in the sixth, stink it up in the seventh, etc, etc, etc.
He'll have us riding high waves one week and then stuck in low tide the following week. All I want is some consistancy from him. I want him to quit vanishing in bigger must win games. QB is a hard job to hold down in the NFL.

Long time reader, first real post.

I am not Pro or Con Philbin, Tannehill, or anyone else. I think (without presuming to speak for anyone else) that I feel the same as everyone else here. We want these Fins to succeed; So thats Philbin, Tannehill, Wallace, Jordan, et al. All of them. I cannot imagine anyone who is an sincere Fins fan hoping for failure to prove a point. That would be asinine.

I think Tannehill is saying the only thing he can say. He is the QB; he is the most important player on this team. He touches the ball every snap. He must play well (to this point, even he agrees he has not, at least not well enough.)

If he starts playing better, then he can be a leader. Until then, he's going to be just a guy. Every teams QB nees to be more to that team than just a guy. Being from a Texas A&M family (although I am personally an LSU fan ;-)), I think he can, and I hope he does. But, if he does not, then we as a franchise and a fan base will move on from him. But as long as he is the starter on this team, I will be his biggest fan. Geaux , Geaux, Geaux Fins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be more worried if 17 was out there missing reads, calling bad protections, not showing an overall command of the offense. What I see is an unusually high amount of missed throws, throws I believe he will start hitting on as he gets more reps.

I also credit the two defenses 17 has faced so far. Buffalo probably has the best combination of pass rush and sticky DB's in the league, NE has Revis and McCourty, two of the best a their position. The schedule breaks in Miami's favor on those fronts in the coming weeks. Their opponents will either have good pass rush and mediocre coverage, the opposite, or deficiencies in both areas.

This is something people aren't really talking about that much... the Bills defense is probably the best on our schedule this year and arguably the best in the league right now.. NE's defense isn't anything to scoff at either.
