i see what you're saying. I just think Tanny can't get in anyone's face with as bad as he's played. It's gotta come from above him, which we know isn't going to happen.

Henne's #1 option was Ginn, come on. Not saying he was a gem but he didnt have much to work with.

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

    NONONONONONO!

If the team gets a spark and Moore brings us to the playoffs, we still need a QB, but then have **** draft position.

    No.

    Hell no.

If Tannehill keeps playing, he either gets it and we make the playoffs or we have better position in the draft.

The only way Moore is s better option is if he's guaranteed to win less games.

    No.

I agree. If the Dolphins defense was better, the Chiefs offense wouldn't have scored so many points. People should be mad at the way the Dolphins played today and not at Reid for allowing his offense to continue to score in the game.

Watching Philbin's post-game presser. He is more upset by the Hartline penalty than anything else. F*** Joe Philbin.

Patriots are not what they used to be. We thought we beat a top tier team when in reality, they're very average. At least right now.

I mean damn...KC's a good team, better than their 0-2 showed...but they shouldn't have been able to dominate us like that. They ALMOST beat Denver in Denver last week, so they're not scrubs.

But damn did we sure give that game away? RT was great for a long time, fell apart at the end. Defensive line was outstanding for the most part...LBs really REALLY hurting us. Take away those drops we had and we would have dominated...no doubt in my mind.

Secondary was good...didn't give up any deep stuff. It was like most were worried about...the dink-dunk mid-ranged stuff killing our LBs.

Tough, tough loss...so many bright spots (Miller, Landry, Wallace, DL) that ended up going to waste. RT had a few bad throws late, and took 2 sacks he absolutely CAN NOT take...ya the interior pass pro was horrible, but man you gotta get rid of the ball or SOMETHING there. Can't take those gimme sacks...I'm starting to think the kid just don't have the fire. Last season may have broken him in Carr fashion.

Through all the mistakes and problems...play-calling was my biggest disappointment. HORRIBLE IMHO. I don't know if it's Lazor or Philbin (but I gotta believe it's Lazor...since Philbin has NEVER called plays), but today it was horrendous...and Philbin's clock management is also highly questionable. Losing all that time before the half took us out of TD possibilities. Somebody's gotta call a TO or spike, or something there...not waste all that damn time...pathetic.

Our injuries really didn't help us today, in STs and on coverage...we obviously don't have the ability to coach around the guys we're missing, like the Chiefs did. They had a ton of guys missing too and it didn't really hurt them.

So my top 5 problems with this game were:

    1. Coaching/play-calling.
    2. Special Teams.
    3. Linebackers in coverage.
    4. Drops...drops...drops.
    5. RT's awareness.

5 bright spots (a few unexpected):

    1. Wallace.
    2. Defensive Line.
    3. Landry.
    4. Miller.
    5. RT off to a fast start/accurate.

Going all the way back to TAMU, he's had a higher than normal number of batted balls, and a higher than normal number of passes dropped. I'll leave it to you to try and ascertain why.

It's so weird, don't you think he looks more uncomfortable this year for some reason? RT seems like a rookie, It's so odd to me. I can't ****ing explain it.

Done with tanny. Call me fairweather or w.e you want. This game was all i needed to see. I was 100% against drafting him and since then i have been a big supporter of his. Until today. At this point put moore in, and i cant believe im even saying that. Done.

Honestly, I don't know. With that said, while I won't give RT a free pass, because he did make some mistakes, I felt as he's been screwed over by drops and interior o-line play.

    Joe Philbin points:

    1) He's actually smiling/laughing in the post-game presser.
    2) He thought Ryan Tannehill "...threw the ball well in the 1st half, will have to watch 2nd half." Um, really?
    3) Thought Miami had 5 or 6 seconds left on clock before end of 1st half.
    4) "Bad things can happen and you don't get points." In response to not using the timeout after the Daniel Thomas reception before 1st half ended. No ***.
    5) "Inexcusable. Poor reflection on me." on Hartline's penalty. Only time he's been somewhat emotional.
    6) Closes it out with "We just didn't play well enough."

    This is the leader folks.

So Philbin is disappointed in Hartline's penalty? What about him and his dumb staff getting one?

We had any number of opportunities to win this game and we blew them all. Think how many times we had second and short and third and short and ended up punting.

I agree. By us not taking the final timeout, we were conceding. It was bush league to not just take a knee there and let the clock expire. If I'd been Philbin, no way do I go shake Walrus Boy's hand after the game. Maybe bust his fat nose, but that's all.
