One source says Dolphins players are "beyond furious. Irate" at defensive adjustments and game plan. Not good. At all.

Been pasting tweets about players frustration and all in GDT, but now it sounds like the anger is at a high level never seen before and IMO has become a story. There sounds like they are about to revolt against Philbin and the coaches - this is as bad as it gets

Not shocking. It's a sad time to be a Dolphins fan. We are the JOKE of the NFL.

Well deserved anger IMO. On both sides of the ball, not just at the co-ordinators, but the head coach. At this rate, there's no way Philbin sees the end of this season.

We lose next week, there might be a true player revolt. By the time we play Green Bay Philbin & Coyle might be history, but only if the players can get to Ross for a meeting.

The defense has had the same issues for three seasons. Coyle hasn't adjusted once. They remind me so much of the University of Miami. There is actually defensive talent but both schemes are rubbish.

It's true though... they don't change crap for what the opponent is doing. You seen it all last week with Watkins running the same play over and over with no adjustment. They don't let our aggressive corners press, its a load of crap. If the talent of the DLine didn't hide all the flaws people would be irate at Coyle.

I'm pretty sure if the opposing team did NOTHING but run a screen pass every play, we'd lose by atleast 20+ each game.

And while we're all throwing Philbin and Coyle under the bus, let's not ignore Lazor. He hasn't been good either.

When you have players like Jelani Jenkins, Cortland Finnegan, Jason Trusnik, Louis Delmas, Philip Wheeler and Jimmy Wilson in the starting lineup....I'm not sure how is fans were beyond furious before this game.

Whoa, this could be the "straw" that breaks Philbins back. Guess Lazor can fill in as interm HC.

Jenkins had a hellvua game, I think he was the best player on that side of the ball for us. And maybe for both teams.

  18. This is great news as far as I am concerned. Philbin needs to be shown the door and the team should be furious for how badly he embarassed them.

Because he collects tackles 7 yards down the field? I left at halftime because I was furious with this team. First I've left like that, that I ever remember, so maybe I've missed it, but when has Jenkins made a play at the line or in the backfield?

Also, while we're discussing the defense, Brent Grimes has been pretty sub par so far this season. Except for the defensive line and Mike Wallace, NOTHING is going right at the moment.

They all suck. I gave Lazor too much props after week one. I was happy he stuck with the run. Should have given all props to Moreno. He's the ONLY reason we won.

Personally, he's the one that bothers me most... well, its pretty close compared to Philbin. I know Lazor is the new golden boy around here, but he's done nothing noteworthy. We didnt win the NE game because of him. That was all on Moreno, and Wake. Lazor's offensive unit is struggling. Not just the QB, its the WR's, the RB's, the OL (interior), its everyone at this point. It's ugly. Judging by some of the tweets from the media in the lockerroom, the players feel it too and arent really happy about the situation on either side of the ball. To me, I just dont see the praise Lazor deserves yet. So... he was the QB COACH in Philly for Chip Kelly. That's about as relevant to me as Philbin being the OC for Green Bay... where he didn't call plays, didnt design the offense etc. etc. Lazor has alot to prove at this point. Hopefully its just growing pains for the offense, however at this point, it's looking like its alot more than that. We looked better at times under Sherman.

I thought he was doing OK early, until after all the drops, then stuff got weird...goofy calls that didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

The receivers aren't getting the "space" to operate...whether that's all on them or the scheme/play-calling I have no idea...but that's all we heard about in the pre-season, and it's not showing at all...did he mean tight space?

  29. Wasnt it Grimes that stripped the ball out toward the end and kept hope alive?

Plus let's remember just how young he is. Lots of production for a 22 year old , as I've said we draft 24 year old rookies , JJ has flashed and produced.

I'm still so pissed about this.

5 sacks, a safety, +2 turnover ratio, over 100 yards rushing and we lost by 19 ****ing points.

    How does that even happen?!?!

Coaching, drops, bad LBs in coverage, missed tackles, bad play-calling (both sides), shell-shocked QB w/no open receivers/protection/awareness/hunger.

Everybody's pissed...us and the team...hope they stay that way.

Eh. His gameplan sucked. Also, players take on the personality of their coach. Philbin's personality is conservative, low - energy.

He's basically the same coach as Sparano, except Sparano's teams played hard for him, even though they had less talent than this one.

the gameplan on both sides of the ball was horrendous. the strength of the team is the defensive front and the best advantage the dolphins have is the weather, it was hot and very humid and lamar miller was gashing the chiefs for 7 yards a run, yet he gets only 15 carries in the ****ing game. the chiefs on offense would run the same play over and over again from the same set and nothing was done to fix this, mcknight ran the same ****ing route over and over again and still nothing was done about it.
