Total offense at -15.1. I will say, when your offense had nearly every possession at midfield with new fresh set of downs, and you cant make it into the opposing teams redzone, and actually punt it away with a 3-out nearly everytime...yeah. Should be worse.

Have never seem an offense stall at midfield more than I did that entire game.

Hartline should get a negative grade for that TD celebration. he should have known better.

    Teams worse than the Dolphins:

Raiders, Jags, Rams, Bucs, Vikings (w/o AP)

    27th in NFL, I think.

That was a terrible flag from the refs. He didn't do anything wrong.

The eye test is all I need to see that this Dolphin team isn't very good.

I have zero respect for anything put out by PFF, after they had Tannehill rated as the 3rd highest rated QB after the first two games of this season.

I'm not sure who they hire to come up with these ratings, but it certainly isn't anyone who actually knows anything about the game of football.

Hartline is allowed to do what he did. The other guys weren't allowed to "pretend" to watch the putt.

Extended group celebrations are not allowed. If his teammates had stayed away from him, there wouldn't have been a flag.

 @ Tannehill being part of a penalty. I guess when your team hasn't been scoring many TD's the last 6 games you sort of forget the rules about them.

The worst part of that penalty is that it wasn't even a group celebration. All the other players did was stand there and watch what he was doing. BS if you ask me.

The group had nothing to do with his celebration. His interaction with them took place after. And was appropriate.

    Terrible flag.

Wasn't there a penalty on the Dolphins bench right at the start of the game too?

The running game has been nothing short of excellent so far. This system works. I'd stop blaming Lazor, if the passing game actually played decently this team would light up the scoreboard with these kinds of YPC totals.

PFF rates Miami as the 20th overall offense. and get this...the #1 overall defense by pretty wide margin. Miami's defense is overall a +44.5. The #2 defense is the Giants at +25.9. Miami is rated the 26th overall Special Teams.

Bruce Arians claims that a QB in a new offense needs 8 games before you can accurately evaluate his performance. Or words to that effect.

Here is the quote: “I try to never judge a quarterback in a new offense until Week 8.”

Rizzi's unit has been poor so far, the offense is what it is, misfiring when you have a high volume passing game that is not producing Td's, we have 30 or so pts in the last two games.

At least Jenkins is starting to shine

so not true. The ref was standing right there. Hartline pretended to putt a ball. all four players pretend to watch the ball and then they celebrate after the the ball "sinks". It's 100% the right call, even if it's a stupid rule.

I would not have a problem with the Hartline celebration if it were when we were up 24-0. Or a game winning TD.

But, I think the PFF grades are ridiculous. They can occasionally provide some insights. But, the defensive ranking that high (and the RT ranking after week 2) is just nonsense.

Were they cheering the putt or the fact they just scored a touchdown? I think the rule is dumb but it's even worse that it was seen as a group celebration. They were literally just standing there WATCHING Hartline.

That may be the case but RT is just terrible. Foles, got 2nd string reps all through camp last year in his first year and didn't play for four weeks until Vick got hurt. When he did, his first game he had a 114 rating. Second game, 133.

I really don't think the offense is the fault for missing Wallace on open bombs repeatedly and for missing wide open WRs on shorter passes (like the Gibson miss at Buffalo in week 2). And, some of the other problems for RT are still present - his pocket instincts are poor; his scrambling instincts are null and void. This has been the case going on 3 years now.

I certainly hope he turns it around. But, I'd give it about 5% chance right now, based on the way he has played. And, based also on his total lack of confidence. He does not have it any more. Once a QB loses that it is really hard to be successful in the league - unless he is able to hang around long enough, move to another team that has all the pieces, and sit for a while. Then a player can come back and become productive (the way Testaverde did with the Jets).

Hartline celebrates a 1 yd TD catch while the team is still losing. LOL the offense is not a team and they don't think like a team. They may say things like, I should have blocked better down field for Lamar after the game but it's not heart felt.

They stood in a line and as he putted they pretended to watch a ball go into a hole. Of course they were celebrating the TD but it was a correct call even if I hate it.

The teammates watching was what made it so funny to watch to me actually - Wallace in particular. So i'd say they were involved. But yeah, c'mon, we don't need a flag for these types of celebrations. I'm all for "act like you've been there", but if dude's wanna have some fun after a score, let them as long as they can line up and kick the point after in time.

Putting for a celebratory dance after you score a TD in football...whatta Putz..

He may be trying to wear out his welcome but he better be careful thinking the grass is greener on the other side..he better start playing like he's getting paid.

I'm sure that's true to a degree. Who am I to argue w/Bruce Arians? That said, this offense has so many problems I don't understand why one person is being blamed for the passing woes. We lead the league in drops ffs. Our failure to throw the ball has been a total team effort.

I think he might be the best coach in the league, and I'm not just jumpin on his bandwagon this year..

I saw him interact with his players and it was all she wrote, sold..told some folks to bet on the cards win total.

From the gif its clear that definitely was not ad-libbed, they practiced it. They should have known better, especially Tannehill. It was kind of funny though, A for creativity.

I love celebrations. However with the penalties assessed on the KO now its important to choose the right time and place.
