The biggest problem with the Dolphins right now is that they're playing their players at the wrong positions. Ryan Tannehill was a great WR as a freshman in college. Probably better there than at QB. He runs a 4.6 40 yard dash which is faster than Jarvis Landry. He also has good height, which is something the Dolphins really lack at the WR position right now. Let Moore, who is a natural QB play that position and he will have a big target to throw to in Tannehill. As for Dion Jordan, he was an elite TE prospect coming out of HS and is a great athlete. Clay is banged up and the Dolphins have little depth behind him. Why not get a good athlete and a big target out there catching the football for Moore next to Tannehill? Also, we are wasting Dan Marino in his current position. Let him coach the team already. He was a good quarterback, and played for the best coach in history, so I'm sure he'll be a great coach. I think if the Dolphins do this, they will win the Super Bowl. I thought everyone could use a laugh in what is not a fun time to be a Dolphins fan.
very amusing. although, what using Jordan at TE occasionally would make sense - if we didn't have Hoskins. I completely understand using Sims as a blocking TE, but everytime we throw a ball to him, I'm assuming it's an incompletion.
Now that's an idea! Actually 24/7, i think putting Jordan at TE is not a half bad idea. He's a physical freak and pretty fast.
On a serious note in the same vein, I would like to see Earl Mitchell used as a lead blocker. We don't have anyone on the roster who is particularly capable, and with his attributes I think it's pretty plausible he could be really good and more than just a big pile pusher. He's also got experience as a fullback and tight end, and can apparently catch:
If dion was handled directly he would of been about 250 right now for linebacker and we could of let him get some offensive reps on offense..have a little fun doing it create some chemistry... But nooooo
