This article excoriates the Dolphins organization once again, and lays major blame on a mostly absentee owner. It leaves the organization rudderless most of the time, and it seems Aponte is filling in that vacuum. Ross needs to go...... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer...office-has-dolphins-on-path-for-more-turnover
Aponte could very well be the type of executive who knows where her bread is buttered and jumps ship on whoever falls out of favor with that person (Ross). Formerly it was Ireland, and now it could be Philbin. That way she keeps her job and doesn't go down with someone she's aligned herself with.
LOL.at all the people saying Ross has to go. Exactly how does one accomplish this..um..firing of the owner?
I want Aponte gone more than I do Philbin, and I don't even like Philbin, I just think her role in the organization is so unnecessary. She's a freaking capologist, the only one in the NFL that has her name out, no one else can name any other team's capologist, no one cares, but this ***** is always in the mix. I don't even know who our capologist was before we hired this one, because no one here cared. Capologist is a big made-up word for glorified sports accountant. Stick to writing checks and informing your boss, which is your General Manager, about player salaries. You don't make decisions on front office or player personnel decisions. You have no idea how to evaluate talent or make any football related decisions. Just forward the little numbers to Dennis and keep your opinions to yourself you clown.
No. because she's made herself known to the media. She isn't talked about without planting the seeds of info without her knowing about, whether directly or indirectly. She could shut it all up, but someone is leaking the info and I'll bet it's someone with her knowledge.
Never been so disappointed in the Dolphins as I am this season. Even the 1-15 didn't bother me as much as this years team because you just knew that team was a dumpster fire before they hit the field. I really thought this team was going to be playoff worthy and after that second half against the Pats it really galvanized that belief. Ever since this team has just come apart. Already in the 4th week we have dissension in the locker room, even the 1-15 team was 2/3rds in before you heard grumbling. It it is going to be a major housecleaning at the end of the season and if Philbin manages to lose this game I dont think he will make it past the Monday with his job.
