Interesting to me that we win a game BIG and there are half the number of posts for this game day thread.

Loved Tanny today. Great play fakes, good ball placement (room for improvement), and the running was so nice. Has to unequivocally get his butt down or out at the end of a run. No hero stuff.

Running game looked good, obviously. Seems we have some depth. Miller does need to learn to hold on to the ball.

Landry seems to be struggling to hold onto the ball. Not sure if it's mental or physical.

Good to see Tripp in there. anxious to see Misi get in there as well.

You're giving Philbin far too much credit for that and he shouldn't have handled it that way imo.

Now to build off this , as an offense , it was one game against a team we should have success against , at a unique locale , and did. RT played really really well , he showed plusses in many areas , he also had some better support , it was only 3 real games into a new offense , so we have reason to be hopeful. Tannehill specifically needs to be become more consistently good and push and elevate his game , and the offense in general. We know 17 is a hard working player , dedicated and we should believe Lazor and Tannehill are going to get this going . They did today , now let's move it forward , show us you're both the right ones.

As an aside, CC is not productive , maybe not healthy ? but I sure would love a productive TE HB , would love it.

How anyone can still say Philbin made a mistake after the results today is beyond me and is borderline cuckoo bird.

    Because he did.

No he didn't. If it was a mistake there would have to be a quantifiable negative result. There wasn't. In fact quite the opposite. Calling something a mistake that did nothing negative and only spurred on positive says more about the person calling it a mistake in the face of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary then it does Philbin.

Better yet, PROVE it was mistake.

How do you know him coping to his mistake and apologizing isn't the reason everything clicked and things would have just went by the same if he never made the mistake?

A Philbin did was pulled a homer.

If so, then what he said to start had zero net negative effect.

Definition: an action or judgment that is misguided or wrong.

Don't care if had a net negative effect. It was still a mistake.

Tannehill quoted the "distraction" as part of the reason he was pumped to play this game. That makes it not a mistake.

And btw, for that definition, you can't claim something was "wrong" unless there's a definable negative effect/result.

He was quoted that getting out of the country to escape the boneheaded mistake.

Still Philbin said, "I made a mistake." Even he realized he made a mistake.

    Reread the quote.

Show me in that definition where "declaring something a mistake, makes it a mistake?.

That is not similar at all, just an attempt to commit conservative baiting. weak sauce.

Just because the result is good doesn't mean the process is. You can do a math problem wrong and get the right answer. You still made a mistake

Math problems have a very specific track to get to the answer, football doesn't. That's why anyone can successfully add 3+3 but very few can coach in the NFL successfully.

    Hey guys

Went to my first fins game on Sunday at wembley. Fantastic day out. Took me 2 hrs to drive to the stadium and when we got there , there was a lot of dolphins shirts everywhere. This was not a raiders home game , no way.

Just incredible that I saw my team in the uk. Now just have to get to Miami for a game.

Incredible day out......15 hours in total but well worth it and the raiders got battered. They were very very poor.

I loved being at the game Sunday, incredible experience. The amount of fans we had was fantastic, not just those from the UK, or even Europe, but I met a lot of people over from America. It was a great day out, topped off by the superb win. Only disappointment was that we didn't stick 50 points on them!
