    I think the black mark had more to do with Philbin selecting Sherman as his OC who then brought his relative Jim Turner to be OL Coach. Once you do that, any input that you could give at the position has a potential to be ignored. Or maybe Philbin doesn't even feel the impetus to give input at that point. Either way, it's hopefully fixed now with Benton on board. OL is playing much better this year no doubt.

    John Jerry looked like basically the same guy in the Giants game I've seen as he was in Miami. He was never nearly as bad as Miami fans tried to make him out to be, and he's not nearly as good at this guy has for some reason convinced himself he is.
