Bengals fans don't support him this much. The guy chokes when he's needed the most.

Look at who the Bengals have beaten and who they've lost to with Dalton at the helm. Look at what he's asked to do versus what Andrew Luck is asked to do. The Bengals have feasted on .500 or worse teams under Andy Dalton. He doesn't deserve as much criticism as he gets, I'll grant you that, but he's not in the same class as Andrew Luck. Dalton's supporting cast is arguably the most talented in the NFL, yet they have trouble against above .500 teams...and for some reason they seem to drop one to the Browns ever year.

What blows my mind the most about this game, is that Cincy hardly got any pressure on Marcia. Can't beat them that way.

What a bunch of stooges. I picked "only Jets lose" AFTER the Pats game was done. Only sensible thing to do. Anything can happen during the game.

You would think that would be something that would be in rotation annually but I swear we always have our bye early.

Does anybody know how the bye weeks are actually selected?

You see what he did on the first drive?, ran thru a lane with a purpose, got up looking to hit somebody, why?, because he had a sense of urgency to set the tone..it's how you make the other p,ayers raise their level, make them accountable..

Anyone who thought and who thinks that he's the problem, imo, is not sharp on the eval in this case.

Teams who travel to London for a game always get their bye after that game. Because of the time difference and the long travel on the airplane, it really wouldn't be fair for these teams to have to fly back to the States and play the following Sunday. That is why the Dolphins had their bye week much earlier this year than the other teams in their division.

The NFL has three games in London this season and everyone of the teams playing in London have their bye week following their game in London. The Dolphins just happened to play the first game in London this year and that is the reason their bye week came so early in the season.

Brady is not the problem and hasn't been. That said, their O-line didn't all of a sudden get talented. They played great last night, but I still want to see them sustain it when they don't have that "us against the world" attitude and their backs against a wall. If that O-line can give Brady time, he is the same ole Brady.

Well.... yes... but anyway, I can't believe the Bengals were favored last night. I could tell by looking at the coaches faces before kickoff which team was going to win... you had Belichick, looking like he was about to murder a batch of newborn kittens... you had Marvin Lewis, looking like he just lost a game of madden to a 4 year old girl. The Bengals are the best example of a team of paper champions if ever there was one. Well at least the 72 Dolphins are happy again... uncork... unzip...

Patriots went back to a power offense, dedicated to the run, with a full back to open the game... went play action off that the rest of the game and the Bengals "vaunted" D didn't know what hit them.

The Bengals are never going anywhere as long as they employ Lewis. They have never shown up to a big game while he's been coach. The wild card game against the Jets in 2009 was the point where I would have executed the guy.

Chances are the Bengals win their division still and Lewis remains their coach. I think he and Belichick are the longest active tenured coaches in the NFL... I understand Belichick but Lewis? I don't get it.

While I refuse to cast aspersions on other peoples' ability to evaluate talent and such, I do generally agree with you here.

I've watched as much of the Patriots as anyone and am continually baffled by these claims that Tom Brady's arm is done or that he can't play anymore, etc. The guy has been slinging it the entire time with velocity and accuracy. The problem has been he's got nobody he can trust running routes (not even Gronk who CLEARLY has not been himself this year coming off an ACL), and in two of the games (both losses) the team got SERIOUSLY away from the running game. Against Miami they had 20 run calls to 65 pass calls. Against KC they had 16 run calls to 34 pass calls. You can't do that against a team that has pass rushers and expect to go unscathed, and both teams had capable pass rushers (Wake, Odrick, Starks, Mitchell, Hali, Houston, Poe, Bailey, etc.).

They don't have Logan Mankins, they're seriously missing Dante Scarnecchia the old OL coach who kept that unit rolling for a decade no matter who played where, and the line can't be trusted to hold up in situations where the defense knows all they can do is keep pass-pass-passing.

All of that has led to frustration on Brady's part and it has affected his decision-making at times. He's more than a little pissed. He views management as basically having taken everything away from him on offense and put it all on his shoulders to produce offense by himself. Sometimes he's been playing with a bit of "Screw this, I'm out" attitude.

But one thing Tom Brady hates worse than what management has done to him, the reason management knows they can get away with this, is losing. It's cliche but absolutely true that losing bothers some more than others. So if the physical ability is still there with Tom (and again I have to go to the film and point out throw after throw where he is clearly still capable from a physical standpoint), then a bounceback was always going to be likely.

I'm not just wasting breath when I talk about how the Patriots play the initial half of the season like a 10-6 team and the final half like a 13-3 team.

I almost feel bad for the Jets. Who gave them this murderous schedule. Only easy game they had was against Oakland in their season opener. They then played us in Lambeau, Bears and Lions at home then @San Diego then they get Denver at home and New England. Not many teams would survive that schedule. Like I said I almost feel bad for them lol.

This. Marvin's put up with a lot of stuff that most other coaches would not even have to consider while running the team.

how can I?, i usually dont, but the hyperbole that was around his demise by our very own went a bit silly, imo it was because of poor surrounding variables.I watched his reps from last season, and his isolation game was just fine, so there isnt going to be a drop off so soon to this year, his quickness in the pocket is still there, foot quickness, quick release, arm strength {i really dont know what else to look for in terms of digression lol} the rest of the stuff is still there, but the rest of that stuff can be affected by poor receiving talent..

im just saying, imo, the team around him might be taking a hit on poor personnell decisions, but brady is still brady..

I dont hear anyone talking about how he saw a lane and ran on the first drive?...pretty cool huh? ..cause he knows..

He had that beautiful deep pass to .. (edelman?) against us in the first game that was a laser. He still has more than enough arm. He has nobody that can get open deep and a line to allow him to do so.

I completely believe the rumors that he's upset with the organization. Yes he won 3 Super Bowls, but he should've won 6+. They've given nothing but hot garbage at wr ever since moss. Let welker walk. Hernandez goes to jail. Don't draft anyone, don't sign anyone, don't trade. It's asinine. Im excited, I think they're only good because of him and once garrapolo steps in they're all in for a rude awakening.

Listening to the "Boomer & Carlton Show" because I just can't get enough of the stej (jets spelled backwards. Pronounced "stench") gloom, despair, and misery.

Boomer Esiason just said he had hoped that after being called out last week that Geno would have responded like "Tannehill did in Miami". That's about as close to a compliment as a Dolphins player gets from these blowhards. Said Tannehill responded and had a great game. Geno responded by missing a team meeting Saturday night, then having the worst game of his short career.

Stej players were refusing to speak to certain reporters after the game and refused to talk today to the media.

Almost, ALMOST, makes up for the toothless Lions and Bungholes failing to win yesterday.

To be fair, not long ago it was Gronk + Hernandez + Welker+ Ridley + Vereen which is a very capable bunch. They've tried a bunch of WRs and they're just not working out (Lloyd, Ocho, etc.).

If Hernandez didn't go all murderous, Gronk, Hernandez, Ridley, Vereen + Welker/Edelman/Amen(glass)dola is a world beating offense.
