Some of us can watch the team without becoming bitter and cynical, after all this is football we're talking about not real life. So go ahead, beat your chest, yell your insults, whatever makes you feel better.
Sounds like you want to impose your own personal feelings onto the team. You have no confidence in the coach therefore they don't either, which is total garbage.
I watch for entertainment and because I love football. You can question my passion, that's cool. I get fired up from seeing wins not losses but that's just me. You have not watched this team for 10 years, no one has, because it's a different team every year. And if you know the team is going nowhere, keep it to yourself so you don't ruin it for those of us who can't see into the future.
Haha, are you for real?I am runinig it for everyone else? You are delusional my man because most people on this post are saying we are going to lose. By the way if you feel this way stop responding to my negative post.I am the one who made this post so go find a better post where you sit by the fire with your laptop and sing kumbaya.
I'm 48 and my life doesn't revolve around football. It's a game, for entertainment. Some people take it way too personal and serious. Lighten up kids! It's a game! Have fun!
I am 48 to and football is one of my many passions.I take all my passions serious so If you cant understand this move on to the next post.
We hold them to 20 points ,get 2 interceptions and pressure Cutler all day. But, turn the ball over 3 times. With Wallace nearly shut down (4 receptions for 30 yards) we get the ball back to B-line and Clay. Fins by 7.
I am a rabid fan and proud of it.To me and all my boys that's the only way to be.Different strokes for different folks dude.I am sure you wouldn't be able to handle watching a game with us.
So how, as fans on this forum, do we "demand more" and get results? We don't...it's that simple. Some lean on the positives, some dwell on the negatives...just human nature. I'm perfectly fine enjoying the positives. The negatives piss me off sometimes, but I get over it quick (usually). There are games I'm very nervous about (the Bears not being one of them), but I'll NEVER say we have no chance or predict a loss. It's just against my nature...others are different, and that's perfectly normal. I never gave up on them during the 1-15, and I have about 100 witnesses at work to prove it. I earned a LOT of respect as a Dolphins fan, what they do on the field doesn't change it...the team is not a reflection of who I am...it's just a team in an entertainment sport. Everybody that knows me knows I'm 100% for my team...and I'm happy with that.
I figured out a while ago that the Dolphins don't care about me, don't listen to me and don't know me. So what do I have vested in the outcome of the games? Nothing. A loss doesn't impact my life at all.
You know, theres actually nothing wrong with being a fan who is happier when their team wins than when their team loses for years. Sort of the concept of being a fan. My two cents via iPhone.
I'm not one who often makes predictions on the outcome of our games, but on this one I have a bad feeling, like we are gonna get smoked.
Well, I met Ryan Tannehill in Wal Mart about 45 minutes ago in my dream and he said we would win. 24-13 Fins.
It really depends which Ryan Tannehill turns up, if we get the Raiders or 2nd half Packers Tannehill, the team is more than capable of winning comfortably.
Right... What's overrated is our cornerbacks. If they **** the bed this sunday im ready to trade both and give Taylor and Davis a shot.
WADR, that's not the concept behind being a fan. That's just your own take on it. I don't care if one is a optimist or a pessimist when it comes to fandom. Be whatever. I just hate it when some try to keep optimistic fans from being optimistic.
Works both ways because we have plenty of fans who try to keep fans from being I will not say pessimistic but realistic.
Dolphins win! Dolphins win! Dolphins win! Cam Wake with another walk off safety. Cutler crying on the sodden grass, blaming all around him.
Several Bears fans are pretty worried about the game... http://www.dabears.com/threads/miami-dolphins-chicago-bears.5316/
that simply doesn't happen to any significant degree though. I was BLASTED, for saying the team was 8-8 caliber Philbin's first year. I was labeled a homer and treated as if I was ridiculous. What does happen here is that a poster(s) will start spouting all sorts of rhetoric about how we suck or are the worst//the coach is the worst or the QB is the worst, etc. and people jump on that. But very, very rarely does someone being realistic with a negative tinge get grief.
i had green bay winning last week. i have miami winning this week. to me, as all year, it comes down to the pass rush we face. i think chicago's isnt quite good enough (top 10) to blow up our offensive line, although they're pass rush is getting better as the season progresses. if i'm right and the oline does it's job we win 27-17. i think our defense will get to cutler plenty and often and it will cause him to throw some picks
