i never saw anywhere in the rules that we were supposed to vote for whoever had the best season last year. I'm voting for my favorite player. Is that a valid reason?
I've got no problem with anyone voting for Ginn. He's an exciting player and will hopefully be a playmaker for us. In fact, when Samson is eliminated I may just vote for Ginn myself. That said, my question specifically centered on the reason that Samson was being targeted, and I stand by my original question. If it's simply a beauty contest, that's okay, I'll be fine. I was just curious. That's all. Ted Ginn [69] - Ronnie Brown [170] Samson Satele [6] +
I can't speak for everyone, but I think we all love Satele. He wouldn't have made it to top 3 if we didn't. So while he might be being targeted, doesn't mean we don't still respect the hell out of him. Ginn is just flat out going to be really fun to watch this year.

Ted Ginn [70] - Ronnie Brown [173] Samson Satele [2] + For Gods sake someone help us stop the Ginn Mafia!
Hey ud, I love Samson too. I could extol his praises all day long and look forward to him being an anchor on our line for a decade to come. But, I am voting for Ted because of two three things: 1) I think he is the most irreplacable on the team (even Ronnie has Ricky backing him up, and that's not a big drop off compared to our second 'deep threat'. Heck we don't even *have* a second deep threat). In terms of team survival, we can least afford to lose Teddy. Samson is qonderful, but with five guys on the O-line, it helps mitigate the hurt we'd feel if Samson were gone. If Ted were gone, though, every single opponent could load up against the run and bring up their safeties. It would kill our offense. 2) He is SO damned exciting to watch! Every time he touches the ball I can't help but get excited and tingly with anticipation. 3) Gish is like a kid who still believes in Santa... so full of wonder and joy over Ted, and it means SO much to him to get that big red bike for Christmas that he has gone above and beyond to help Ted. His passion and commtiment to Ted is really awesome and makes me want to hep him. Gish just flat out cares about his player more than anyone else I have seen here, and I like rewarding people with that sort of pure passion for something. I love Samson and Ronnie, but those are my reasons. B.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Without question Ronnie is currently my favorite Dolphin. He is also going to be critical to the success of the Dolphins this year. But BPK makes some good points. Also, in addition it is so much harder to find a good WR in this league than a good RB. That's not to take anything away from Ronnie, but if you look at the NFL it does seem like talented RBs are becoming a dime a dozen. Certain systems you can plug anybody into and they can notch up 1,000 yards rushing e.g. Denver. So if Ginn can be that special WR, which I think he can, then we have truly found somebody who will be irreplaceable for us. And I think he will add that game breaking factor to the Dolphins that has been missing for years. For these reasons and more: Ted Ginn [72] + Ronnie Brown [173] -
Cant believe you guys eliminated Satele. Thats it, time to get rid of the GinnMan. Here's my card. Ted Ginn [74] - Ronnie Brown [171] +
Am I the only one that finds it extremely sad that these are the last 2 people standing? Ted Ginn [73] - Ronnie Brown [172] +
I found the entire list to be pretty sad. But when JT is the second one gone, Zach is in Dallas. This is the team we have right now. Ted Ginn [74] + Ronnie Brown [171] -
Ted Ginn [73] - Ronnie Brown [172] + Ginn shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath with Ronnie Brown at this point.
