If Parcells fires Cameron who do you feel would be his choice?
Does he go offense or defense?

I have seen a list of Parcelss guys that all have gigs right now...Crennel,Coughlin,Al Grow
one name that caught my attention was Charlie Weiss with his struggles at Notre Dame might he consider coming south to work for his old friend Parcells?

I know many here want Jason Garrett, Im not sold on him just yet I know Troy Aikman has a man crush on Garrett but I like to see a player/coach do it for more than one year.

Well I'd like to hear from you great dolfans whats your opinion if Parcells dumps Cameron who does he replace him with?

Parcells talks up Garrett as a up and comer all the time, not just Aikman.

Do people really think Garrett is deserving of a head coaching job? He's been an offensive coordinator for less than a year. He also has an array of Pro Bowl caliber players to work with, including his QB, WR, RB, TE, and over half of his oline. It could be argued that he's the reason for their success but I don't buy that. A lot of those guys played at high levels before Garrett went to Dallas so I don't get why he's given all the credit. He also hasn't had to deal with many injuries or much adversity. Garrett may one day be a good coach but he needs more time.
I'm fine keeping Cameron around with Parcell's watchful eye.

Garrett has been considered a future HC in this league back when he was still playing ball. It's not like this is 'new'. He's already out of Miami's class. He's being groomed for the Dallas HC job for the start of 2009 at the latest.

Why don't we wait until we know if Cam is getting fired before we speculate?

Keep in mind if Parcell's doesn't keep Cam, he may determine that the only person qualified for the job is looking at him in the mirror. The local ESPN radio station here in Dallas had Pat Sumerall on the radio Friday. He threw out a few names that Parcell's might be interested in (mostly those we have already named on this site) but he didn't rule out that Bill (Parcell's) may decide that he himself is the best for the job.

He ain't spectacular, but maybe Shottenheimer. Probably not a long-term solution, but he's a known entity who seems to always have the respect of his players. Given a decent roster, his teams make the playoffs more often than not, although they often choke when they get there.

Sometimes you just have to hold off on those unproven coordinators. You often end up with total zeros like Cam Cameron.

He may have an array of Pro Bowl caliber players but he is also a very smart play-caller and many have noted his ability to handle game management. Keep in mind, this is his first year as OC as well. I'm sure if we sign him, a guy like Parcells can fill in the gaps and help train Garrett.
