    According to Mando:

    Miami Dolphins returning to London in 2015

    http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2014/11/miami-dolphins-returning-to-london-in-2015.html

    @ArmandoSalguero
    Adding to my report that the Dolphins will play in London in 2015, the game will be considered a home game for Miami.

    @ArmandoSalguero
    NFL has told teams if they want to be considered to host a Super Bowl they must be prepared to give up home games by playing in London.

    smh @ goodell..... How is this not extortion!!?

    Two years in a row is BULL SH@$ And this crap about if your city wants to host a Super Bowl?? Blackmail. Why not then have the teams that are already guaranteed the upcoming Super Bowls play in London? The guy is really weird and acts like a dictator at times!!!!

    It is extortion, but since Ross must have agreed to these conditions, he obviously is more concerned with getting a SB somewhere down the road than he is with being extorted by Goodell.

    Since the plan is to increase the number of games played in London over the coming years, this probably means that the Dolphins will be playing in London just about every year.

    Ross cares more about getting a SB in Miami than he cares about the Dolphins having to give up a home game. It won't surprise me if Ross volunteers to have the Dolphins travel to London and give up a home game for the next five years if he thinks that will improve his chance of getting a SB.

    While I can't stand Jerry Jones, I do believe that he built the best stadium in the NFL. So I think the SB should be played in his stadium every year until a better stadium is built.

    Perhaps this would resolve the SB issue and Ross would be less willing to deprive the fans of Miami a home game, instead of allowing himself to be extorted by the NFL with a promise of a possible SB game, some time in the future.

    We're kinda 2-2 at home this year...better on the road (granted 2 of the games were Oakland / Jax)...played well in London...why is this a bad thing?

    What's with you guys? It's a perfect excuse for Indian food in Shoreditch followed by a great Scotch and aged Cuban at the cigar bar in the Belgraves. Next day you go to Wembley.

    We are usually better on the road, soooo.

    I don't have a problem w/ us playing there again, but I do believe that the league should provide some benies such as a good bye week and either team playing there shouldn't have to give up a home game.

    That is a really great idea and if Dallas or Houston make it then it could be in the new stadium being built in Atlanta so they do not have a huge home field advantage.

    This has been the rumor for a few days now. I have known about it since late last week. The rumored game is against Jacksonville if I am not mistaken.

    Sucks for season ticket holders, and I really do think that other teams should be forced to do this at least ONCE before we go a third time, but it is what it is. Take solace in knowing that The Dolphins are probably one of the more popular teams in the WORLD.

    Meh.... Don't get why some of you get so upset at these games.

    They should take as many as possible.
    Great exposure to build the Dolphins brand overseas.

    I take solace in knowing we play very well on the road, so while I feel for season ticket holders ( I'm sure they will get a discount or present) there is no competitive disadvantage imo

    Losing a home game sucks enough, but losing a home game against a division opponent is simply bull****.

    Especially losing a home game to our most hated rival. I was under the impression that it was not going to be a division game.

    Can't be Jacksonville and a Miami home game. Jaguars gave up 1 home game a year thru 2016 to London.

    This is a ****ing joke. If for some reason jet fans travel more than Dolfans....then they essentially get 2 ****ing home games against us. How pathetic.

    We're way more popular around the world than the Jets, especially in London.

    It's definitely still bull**** though.

    Current rumor says it's against the jest. It became known our Phins were one of the more popular teams in the world back in the late 80s/early 90s when they played in London, Tokyo and Berlin. Yeah, it'll be great again to have a pro-Dolphins Wembley Stadium, but we can't pack the SoFla humidity with us.

    I feel like this move should upset season ticket holders who thrive on watching division games. They should slash ticket prices for next season if they're doing this

    I dunno, I think there's more Jets fans in Miami then there will be in London.

    I don't think its a good idea to have a division game over there though. The NFL should always schedule an AFC team vs an NFC team over there.

    I was wondering how this affects season ticket holders. Sounds like you just get bent over basically. They should at least offer up free food/beer tickets for the other games or something, maybe a party with dolphin past players - SOMETHING to acknowledge a game being pulled out from under you.

    Well Dolphins/Jets games in Miami have typically sounded like Jets homegames at times anyways the last couple of years. If we had to cough up a division game, seems like an OK one to give up. I don't like the idea of it having to be a division game though.

    Wow what a joke. Ross no doubt had to agree to this. Who in their right mind gives up a Division Rivalry home game? Who cares if the Jets have 1 win this year, it has no bearing on next year. To give up a division home game on a neutral field is a joke. Remember Dolphins @ Bills in the Toronto Dome? Dolphins had equal fans and shut down the Bills on the road, something they'd struggled to do for years. The Bills were also in playoff contention at that point I think and then their season spiraled.

    They shouldn't even have a home game in London next year. What about the Bengals? The Dolphins are averaging 70,000 fans this year...meanwhile the Bengals are a little over 50,000.

    Ross only agreed to this because he wants to get in the good graces of Goodell by giving up a division game so Miami will get to host a Super Bowl. So because of that instead of hosting the Jets in 90+ degree Miami in September, its going to be in London which is an easier trip for the Jets.
