A win vs the Broncos on the road would almost sure up a playoff spot assuming we sweep the jets and beat the vikings. Entire afc plays each other so come week 15 or so, i dont think there will be such a cluster for a playoff spot like there is now.

Hey we leapfrogged to the 7th seed - not bad. This weekend's games are going to be nice knowing we've already won and can root for teams to lose.

I'm of the opinion that the AFC North is a complete fraud. The Oranges are leading that division? I think they'll knock each other out for the most part. The Steelers just lost to the Jets.

The Ravens game is the key here. I'll concede the game against the Bronks (though a win would be awesome). Not sure about the Patriots, are they really that good?

You HAVE! to beat the Jets twice and the Vikings. That's 9 wins. Where they get the 10th win is the key. Bronks, Ravens, Pats? Right now the Ravens seem to be the obvious focus since it's a home game. Steve Smith is a great receiver but Grimes actually covering someone his size? Game Over!

I'm really interested to see how the Patriots do against the Colts. The Dolphins can still win this division. The Pats haven't played the Packers yet. The Dolphins can still catch them for the division without having to worry about the Wildcard.

Keeps them alive, but still on the outside looking in.

Have to beat the Ravens, and they can't slip up against the Jets or Vikings. Win those 4 games and they're pretty much in unless two other teams go 11-5. They'd have a 8-4 AFC record (assuming the fall to Denver and New England. If they get an unlikely upset against one of those they have some outstanding breathing room if they do slip up in December).

Of course its all easier said than done as we saw last year when a 9-7 record would've been fine...and they only scored 1 TD with the playoffs theirs for the taking the last 2 weeks. Geno Smith made them look bad. AND if they had won one of those, they would have played the freakin BUNGLES! It would've been an awesome chance to get the first playoff win since 2000 since the Bungles always choke as we saw when they got destroyed at home by the West Coast chargers. Oh well, make up for it this year.

This is a different team than last year. That team won heartstoppers against the Chargers, Colts, Falcons, Patriots, Steelers and Bengals. All their wins this year have been comfortable.

They lost to the winless Bucs and to Thad Lewis twice. They also lost last minute to Panthers. They have two losses on the last drive this year but the first was to arguably the best QB in the league and the other was on the road against the best D in the league coming off of a bye.

This Phins team has beaten the teams they "SHOULD" beat. Their offence have put up points, where last year they couldn't break 30. They have way more WR depth and stability at the offence. The linebacking corp is actually good this year.

The point is, last year's meltdown is not something we should be worried about.

If New England goes down to the Colts this week, we would be playing for first place next week in Denver, since we currently hold the tiebreaker.

The Pats have a tough schedule coming up. They have the Colts, Lions, Packers, Chargers and Dolphins over the next 5 weeks. All are tough games and potential losses. The division is well within reach -- if we can get within a game going into NE I think we have a good shot. Their only gimme left is at NYJ.

any ravens team without ray lewis is not the same, we have the better defense now..

if the ravens are still in the playoff hunt for it it will be electric with all their fans..

what it means is we won , it means nothing if we backslide and lose the next 3 or 4 games. So far though it means we are a little better and could be in the playoffs but don't want to jinks us so I don't want to look over any team right now. I do Admit it feels good to have some hope .

There's no assuming in football, and we're going to have to earn a win every week from here on out.
