This is crazy to me. I was trying to think of a year that was like this for Miami and now I know why I couldn't.

I also keep on hearing that 2nd half adjustments don't exist, for not existing Miami was great last night. Went from allowing 6 of 8 third down conversions to 0-7.

Being down 6-3 in the first half to out scoring the bills 19-3 in the second half.

They can do all this while playing in a way people are complaining about their play.

Yes. Usually when Miami wins its near always a tight game. Been nice having comfortable leads since they obviously cant win the tight ones (Green Bay/Detroit)

It's all about killing the clock. Can the offence kill enough time with the lead and can the defence prevent the desperate offence from converting 4th downs late in the game.

Against the Pats, Jags, Bears and last night they kept 2 score games from being one score games by forcing Turnovers (either by down or INT).

Against the Packers and Lions the offence couldn't kill the clock and defence allowed for long scoring drives.

The only two truly comfortable games were the ones were RT were taken out in the 4th (Chargers and Raiders).

You know in movies/tv shows when the hero has to face a giant bad ***, and the bad *** let's the hero get in a free punch, and the bad *** bleeds a little and then smiles because he knows this is gonna be an epic fight. I call that the blood grin.

Coming out after halftime, our defense had the blood grin for I think the first time this year.

Not sure about that. The Bills tacked on another 3 points following a long drive after the Dolphins couldn't capitalize on a 3 and out starting the half. This defence needs to get off the field quicker.

The first time the Dolphins could get pressure on Orton was after the Gibson TD. It was a lot like the Jags game, once the offence finally started pulling its weight the defence poured it on.

You just need two games to decide that the Dolphins cannot win a close game?
