Meh. I know Manning historically doesn't play at his best in cold temps, but neither do we.

35 in Denver is shirt weather..it's dry snow lol if that makes any sense..seriously its very mild even when it's snowing..you can literally walk outside in a shirt when it's snowing..weird and awesome.

One of my favorite restaurants in the country is in Denver...sushi den..anyone whoever goes needs to go..it's an experience and it's exceptional, and I've been to the best sushi restaurants in New York and la.

They have an arrangement with people from Osaka, every day a plane comes in..sit at the sushi bar, get your own chef, and let him do magic, drop a c-note and don't worry about it.

This one time me and the chef were doing shots, and he pulled out some private stock sh$$, it was late, he pulled out this fish, it was so fresh he had to dab it with paper towels to soak the blood, he cut that sh## off the bone right in front of me, dipped it into some spicy flour mixture and fried it up fish fry style, then he took the bone that had some flesh still on it, and fried that up..so freakin good..eaten there 20 times.

I think my bill was 175 for the food, then I gave him a fifty spot.

lol, it's just really dry in Denver, there's no humidity, I don't know if it's possible to snow without humidity but it's different type of cold, as in not cold..

I spent a couple of years in Cheyenne, and all through that country due to zero humidity, the snow is so powdery dry, you literally cannot make a snowball out of it. :)

Much more comfortable to be outside when it's 20 degrees in a place like Denver or Cheyenne than it is when it's 40 in a cold and high humidity area such as the west coast of South Korea.

Holy ****, if you love it so much why don't you move there and become a dirty Broncos fan! We're rolling into Denver in a week with playoffs on our mind, and your all romanticizing about your one-on-one date with a dude in enemy territory.

No wonder our fans don't show up to games. They're too busy flirting with the enemy...

With Manning.. Wind is a huge issue. Watching the Patriots game.. Alot of Peyton passes have a big arc.. He's very accurate.. But wind can really impact his sideline throws. I think Grimes could have a few picks in this game.. Because he is almost a genius as far as gauging a balls arc and getting it at the right apex

Wed morning I woke up and it was zero out.
    Thurs morning it was -13
    Fri morning it was 6
Windchill for a few spots out here were -30
That's cold, I've been out here for 12 years. Winters aren't as bad as some people think, but we do have our moments:)
"dry" snow, tbh, never heard of it. Our snow is pretty wet and heavy. Only time I can think of it not sticking is when it's too cold to stick....lol

Today it's supposed to be mid 30's, so I'm headed to the heated driving range and bash some golf balls:)
Really, after this past week with the polar vortex passing through, 30's will be nice:)

I agree. In my younger years, my wife and I used to spend a week or two each year skiing in the mountains of Colorado or Utah. When the temperature got above 25 degrees, it almost felt like it was in the 50's in the eastern part of the United States, because of the lack of humidity.

In the east, because of the humidity, the snow is much wetter and it always feels much colder than is does in the less humid western parts of our nation.

I think the Dolphins will probably be affected more by the high altitude in Denver next Sunday, than they will be affected by temperatures in the 20's or 30's. It takes your body a while to adapt from a few feet above sea level to a mile above sea level. It always took me a few days to get somewhat adjusted to the higher attitude. Of course I was never in the great athletic shape the players on the Dolphins are in.

I'm not worried about how the Dolphin players will play in the colder weather, but how they adjust to the much higher attitude is a bigger concern IMO.

I really doubt the temp's will be a issue, I also doubt the altitude will be a issue. The Dolphins...
    1998 playoffs, lost
    1999 won
    2001 won
    2004 lost
    2008 won
Dolphins have won 3 of the last 5 out here, plus I was at all 3 of the wins:)

Since we have 10 days total to prepare for the Broncos I really would forget about the 3-4 days that Philbin is giving everyone off and remember that we are in a very tight Playoff chase, and practice in Miami for a few days, and then fly into Denver 3-4 days early and finish our preparation for this huge game there. While we can also give healing time to those that need it and we will get used to the drastic change in Altitude that way. Honestly the cold weather will not effect the Dolphins as we really play well in it..especially the Defense. I like this idea because it will also keep our guys focussed while keeping our eye on the prize! I think this is an important game that at we can win and I have picked us to win. It will also at the same time get us used to a hostile crowd that we will also face in New England.

I think there's a general misconception that snow disfavors passing the ball.

IMO snow adversely affects pass rush more than anything. That should benefit Miami.

The defense would welcome bad weather, and I believe the rush defense for DENVER is not as good as their statistics.

I lived there for two years, I know what it's like but can't explain, of course when it gets to the tips your talking about that cold, but a lot of the times when it's snowing there it's totally mild and the air is different...

I just hope for wind, lots of it.

We've had some very mild winters, but we've also had some winters were the golf courses were closed for over two months. Each year is different. People don't know this, but Colorado has the 6th highest total in tornados....

One thing I love about living on the Gulf Coast: golf year 'round!

I bet the ball flies up there! What would you say the average increase of ball flight is compared to "sea level" distances?

For the Pros, both men and women, it's a lot. I shoot about 8-10 over on the average from 6200-6400 tees. When I go back to Kansas, (where I'm from), I notice about a 5 yard difference with my irons. For me, its about a half club, for others it could be a full club.

Yeh...it depends on the air temperature as to what is considered wet or fluffy snow.

They snow up on the ski mountains is usually the kind called "Powder"...which is what yall are calling dry snow. Powder you can pick up a big handful and blow it out of your hand. Wet snow is like mashed potatoes.

Either way..non of that is going to be an issue in my opinion. Wind is the real thing. Wind and wet rain....like what we saw in Buffalo last year. That **** was just nasty as hell.
