Wow can't believe the Titans tanked that game! They looked great tonight too! Look its never wise to "rely" on other teams to lose...We have to handle our business above all that. Any help we get along the way by other teams in our conference losing is always nice, but we have to take care of business on Sundays.
The Raiders came to play tonight. Both teams have had the ball a couple of times. Raiders 7 Chiefs 0 Division games. I don't want to think about playing in New York. edit: I'm pretty sure Sparano just did a fist bump, so give this post one in honor of him.
24-20 Raiders...our 38-14 trouncing of them looks better every week, they are mostly in every game since
so denver not feeling that much pressure after all....maybe now you rest a sanders and thomas for that division game in 10 days....thanks sparano...that was a big one
I wonder if the AFC West will be locked up with 3 teams at 7-4. I know Denver will be 7-4 but I'm not sure who the Chargers play. edit: The Chargers play the Rams. I think we will see 3 teams at 7-4 in that Division, Of course Denver will lead the Division with their 3-0 Division record.
Things shaping us nicely for only one team in the AFC West making the playoffs.. They all have fairly difficult schedules down the stretch. It's going to come down to Miami vs Baltimore. We have to win that game at home.
Checked out some KC message boards... They make us look lame.. Andy Reid - Fat Boy There was a great thread titled: "Alex Smith f*** you" "Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck." "This one is on Reid" This place is a riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are going apesh*t crazy. Check it out for some late night entertainment. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/
I wish Carr would have got more than 174 yards passing. That's below the Chiefs average passing yards allowed and the Chiefs are the only team ahead of us in pass defense.
Those rollicking Raiders!
FFS...the AFC is completely jammed up at the moment. Is that what they call parity? Our guys have one hell of an opportunity to take a firm grasp on their post-season chances this Sunday. KC beats Seattle on Sunday, loses to Oakland on Thursday...with Denver also losing, crazy week.
A few years ago, when the Chiefs beat the then-undefeated Packers late in the season, a forum member from here(?) signed up on that forum (I believe) and opened a thread to thank their team for doing that, as of course, that Chiefs win meant another year went by with the 1972 perfect season intact, unmatched, etc. (not that it really mattered, for the Packers lost in the playoffs later...) Anyway, the responses to the thank you were filled with nothing but such unwarranted vitriol and anger none such encountered here... a bunch of lame hostility in that place indeed. Remembering that, there's some pleasure to take in the Raiders beating the Chiefs and getting their first (only?) win of the season on them, sending the poor sports in that forum into further whining fits which have turned ritual over the years for them and their continually hapless team... hahaha!
