seriously, his trajectory and spin gives us a big advantage against this qb if those winds are correct.
Oh yes, I agree..it still cracked me up with your clever placement of words.Wounded ducks have a hard time flying in strong winds.
IDK, why Dolphins fans get so wrapped up in what some writer for some fish wrap writes about them. I mean does it really matter if the Fins are getting positive or negative press? The Dolphins players and coaches have to go out there and win, period. Respect from some third rate sports writer does make crap of difference in the long run.
Good point. Manning tends to arc even intermediate stuff it seems, while RT puts it on a rope. As long as the receivers can handle the fastball in the cold.
Could not agree more. Why should we care? I would much rather get trashed continually and win the SB than get "good press" and wind up 8-8 - mired in mediocrity one more time. And, every time the Dolphins start to get such press - they fail. Nothing really matters in this league unless you win. When the Dolphins actually accomplish something significant, then the press will be real. At this point, all "media hype" is utterly meaningless. It's less significant than a first quarter first down run on your own 30 hardline.
I think it's a matter of after having been lambasted in the press for I don't know how long, that getting some positive press is a novelty. And there have been many times the press was a bit over the top in their criticism. It will pass and these columns from third rate writers will matter less and less. We go out and get a win this week at Denver and there will have to be several more wagons brought in to carry all these media hacks around.
