So... last years LSU team had ODB on one side, Landry on the other...

...and Jeremy Hill and Alfred Blue in the backfield?

How the **** did they lose games? Was Mettenberger the worst QB of all time or something?????

    Wow..

I wouldn't trade Landry for Beckham because I love Landry' personality and fire for the game.. But man those two were an awsome pair. Hmm.. Wonder if the Giants would trade him. How cool would that be. Trade them Wallace and a Draft pick!

mettenberger was mediocre but a lot falls on Les Miles and also you have to be special to go perfect in the SEC. Every week is a playoff game and Auburn and Alabama exist.

It would have to be a Ricky Williams type deal PLUS some IMO.

Metternberger was way more than a "mediocre" QB last year for LSU. Mett was 4th in the nation in passer rating last year and 6th in the nation in total QBR. And broke a lot of records at LSU. He was def way more than just mediocre.

And it wasn't Les Miles fault last year either. The offense was great last year at LSU. The D was young and struggled after being butchered in the draft the 2011 and 2012 seasons. LSU lost an insurmountable number of under classmen to the drafts those 2 years and it finally caught up with them.

And it's the SEC. LSU beat the SEC champ in Auburn. Lost on the road at UGA, Ole Miss, and Alabama. UGA game was a shoutout that went into OT. I think the score was like 44-41 final. The offense did have 3 INTs in the 1st half vs Ole Miss but found a way to get back into the game the 2nd half. The D couldn't get a stop when they needed it. And Bama is Bama... It took a miracle play by Auburn to beat them. If that doesn't happen, Bama goes to win the SEC and plays for the Natl title.

Maybe I'm misreading your post, but you're saying if you were GM of the Dolphins, and NYG inexplicably offered you Ol Dirty Bastard for Landy straight up, you wouldn't take it?

Landry will turn 22 on friday...that kid is 21 right now, 2nd youngest player on the team behind DT Anthony Johnson who is still 21

people who go the the stadium have to give birth to "juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuice" when he makes a catch, we need that

Why not? Over his first eleven years in the NFL, Anquan Boldin has averaged 78 receptions, 1,031 yards and 5.9 TDs.

There's no reason to think Landry can't achieve those numbers - or better - in his career.

I'm sure I will get flamed for this but who cares. I think what sets Jarvis Landry apart for me, is his desire to be the single best. Not, one of the best. His attitude, self confidence, work ethic, all remind me of Jerry Rice. I believe that's the benchmark Jarvis has set for himself. I think if he's given the chance to play with an upper echelon QB for his career, and he stays healthy, he will put up Hall of Fame numbers.

Jarvis Landry has become our number one reciever now, it may be safe to say.

He now leads the team with 49 receptions. Over the past four games he has caught at least five passes in each, and he leads the team in yards, targets, and touchdowns over that span.

He may end up leading all rookie recievers in receptions this season when it's all said and done, as he is only four behind the current leader, Brandin Cooks.

Yep...its amazing really how much of an important piece Landry is to make this run. You can tell Tannehill loves going to him.

I wish there was a way to measure catch radius...like for each player, a large glowing circle that varies in size depending on what that receivers catch radius is.

He's gonna have to surpass his high of 75 yards. I love Landry and all, but guys like Evans and ODBJ are making huge plays and taking over games. Defenses are going to have to start consistently doubling those guys they're so good. The competition this year is just really fierce.

Eh....maybe, but, you have to look, how many catches would Odell get in our offense? Same with Evans. They are both amazing, dont get me wrong, but there arent alot of options on those teams.

As well, Landry's impact on a playoff run. Neither of those teams are going anywhere. Well, potentially Tampa, but thats because a 5 win team may win that division.

Chances are your correct, and thats fine. Both of those players are more then deserving of that honor.

I actually see the physical limitations, especially when he's running routes, but when the ball gets in that radius you speak of, it's over, after that it's all heart, toughness, will, intelligence, instincts, and sneaky athleticism.

Evans is having a much better season stat wise
    consider both have 49 receptions

Evans has 8 tds to Landrys 5
Evans has 17.2 yards per reception Landry has 9.2 yards per reception
Evans has 841 yards receiving Landry has 450 yards receiving
Evans averages 84.1 yards per game Landry has 40.9 yards per game
Evans has 17 catches of 20 yards + Landry has 2 catches for 20+ yards receiving
Evans has 4 catches of 40 yards or more Landry has 0

Evans dominates Landry on just about every stat for wide receiver
as good as Landry has been for the Dolphins he's not even in the same league
    as Evans

all true..he might not need a double team like them guys on the outside, but shoot, this guy may really start eating the middle of the field and attracting the eyes of the safety, and as these games get hotter this dudes seems like ice..

plus return opps to make plays..hes gotta chance Limbo, its not that farfetched anymore.
