pretty much everything that could go well so far has in terms of other teams helping our playoff chances.
were gonna beat that raven *** next week. chargers in the lead for that 6th spot and we beat that *** too.
Whew.... If he got out of bounds i would of flipped out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Just ran through the playoff simulator on ESPN. If Denver wins today (Kansas City loss) and Miami wins tomorrow night, Miami would be the 6th seed heading into next week at 7-5 due to tie-breakers over Baltimore, Buffalo and Cleveland.
Aside from the Bengals win I think we got everything we wanted today. We need the Broncos to beat KC tonight.
Yes, now we need to root for Denver to beat Kansas City. And a Dolphins win tomorrow night obviously.
Yes! The AFC North helped us out a lot today.. if the Broncos beat the Chiefs and we beat the Jets we'll get back into the 6th seed.
never mind. I know why now. It's because multiple teams would be tied at 7-5 so Dolphins would have the tiebreaker. But if just the Chiefs and Dolphins were tied then the Chiefs would have the tiebreaker due to head to head match up.
Just to update on the scenario I mentioned. I ran the following simulation with the 4pm games. I assumed that Green Bay wins against New England (only because they're at home - arbitrary I know) and Denver beats Kansas City. If that happens and Miami wins tomorrow night, the AFC seeding heading into next week would be as follows: 1) New England - 9-3 (Head-to-Head tie-break against Denver) 2) Denver - 9-3 3) Cincinnati - 8-3-1 (Keep in mind their remaining schedule is Pittsburgh, @ Cleveland, Denver, @ Pittsburgh) 4) Indianapolis - 8-4 5) San Diego - 8-4 6) Miami - 7-5 Miami would have the tie-break due to better conference records than Baltimore, Buffalo and Cleveland, who are all also 7-5 in this scenario. Houston trails them at 6-6.
If you have two teams then head to head counts. If you have three teams tied they go with conference record.
Because the Chargers have the toughest schedule in the league to end the season and aside from the Dolphins the Ravens don't have that tough of a schedule. Plus Dolphins own tiebreaker over the Chargers.
I'm pissed off. Patriots don't give up touchdowns in the redzone, they let you move down the field & then just shut you down. F**k
No, Miami split with them head-to-head, but Miami would have them on divisional record with a win tomorrow (3-1 vs. 3-2) and conference record (6-3 vs. 4-5).
