Not really. If you went head to head with three or four teams, then it could easily convoluted where team a beat team b, but team b beat team c, and team c beat team a.
then this isn't the thread for you.. its about positioning for us fans..players can take your mentality.
you think they would want to get home field advantage though the whole playoffs including super bowl, plus division could still go to seattle
Since it's more than two teams at 7-5, conference record would supersede KC's head-to-head win over Miami. Miami, with a win tomorrow night, would be 6-3 in the AFC while Kansas City would be 5-4 if they lose to Denver today.
Funny. If you toggle between Miami winning and losing the game it switches back and forth from the old logo and the new logo.
I'm using the default parameters on the ESPN Playoff Machine, so I'm assuming that takes tie-breakers into account. If that's not the case, then I apologize.
Man I'm loving today. Now Dolphins better whoop the Jets tomorrow. I don't even want it to be close. I want a blow out.
It does, click on Tiebreakers, between INSTRUCTIONS and Select Criteria, and it shows all the conditions used to calculate the tiebreakers.
I don't think Den vs KC game means too much, KC is already locked into a wildcard spot in my opinion. That leaves SD, and the NFC North as the main competition for the last spot. SD plays NE, DEN, SF, and KC to end the season. If HOU wins out they have a chance too. I don't see Buffalo making the playoffs with their remaining schedule.
I know man. If Dolphins don't make the playoffs those Packers, Lions, and Broncos losses will haunt me for the offseason.
If the Patriots do lose to the Packers, two things must happen for us to win the division: 1) We must win out, which includes beating them 2) They must lose one of the following games: @Chargers, vs Bills, @Jets If those two conditions are met, the division is ours.
Man having to wait the rest of the day and all day tomorrow for the game is going to kill me. Lol I just want it to be game time already.
KC isn't locked in. If they and multiple teams finish at 10-6 then they could lose out on tiebreaker. After the Broncos today they still got to play the Chargers, Cardinals, and Steelers. I can definitely see them finishing out the last 5 games at 3-2 or 2-3.
