It was great hearing the Dolphins chants on TV on a road game(other than London) for a change. All our fans that represented... THANK YOU! Way to take over their stadium!
RT was able to use the hard count on the road. That tells ya how quiet the Jets fans were. Usually on the road, an offense needs to use a silent count.
The section I sat in was probably 90% us, the section next to us was even higher, I can comfortable say four sections that a large majority were Dolphin fans and they were all together. And they were scattered all over the place outside those sections.
I'm mad that I didn't go this year! Went last year and there were a lot of fans, it was fun. Must go in 2015. And yeah, not all NY. See a lot of people from around the east coast went, even Canada. People even fly up from Miami now. Hope 2015 is even bigger. Should go to DolfansNYC home Slattery's for the Ravens-Dolphins game. Always been too lazy to get on the train (even though its only about 40 mins), and nobody ever wants to go. Anyone ever go there to watch?
Yeah I do but I won't be at the Ravens game because I got plans that night and have to stay sober but I plan on being their for the Vikings game.
I plan on making a trip up to the bar or a game in the next couple years. I'm fortunate that the biggest routine away crowd that actually organizes is less than 2-3 hours from where I live.
For real, keep it up. It sounded like we out numbered them at times. I love NY/NJ FIN FANS fans giving them a taste of their own medicine. PLEASE KEEP IT UP. WAY TO REP!
great stuff guys... can you tell me what Cameron Wake was doing after the game? He was looking over at the fans in the stands... not sure if he was looking for someone or if there was something going on (a fight behind the Dolphins bench in the stands?)???
I got to say Jets fans were pretty cool, I didn't see any real thrash talking and not one single fight and we were mashed together on the trains there and back and I had talks with alot of them. I was impressed. That said yeah I'm sure they didn't like it lol
unfortunately, I don't think it will be the same for me when I go to the New England game in 2 weeks. I don't even really want to go to the game because I think we're going to get our butts kicked. But a friend of mine bought two tickets for Xmas, one for me and one for her son, so I have to take him, freeze my *** off and watch Miami likely lose.
This is true, if both teams were 6-5 going into last night's game they might not have been so cordial.
Made the trip up from Delaware to the game. I'm glad the noise came across on television. Being there it seemed like a home game, in a section of basically all phins fans. We were calling it Joe Robbie North. I'm certainly hoarse from it.
Not even a Jets fan whos team is 2-10 can't talk smack. Saw this posted in another thread lol.
Could not believe it when I heard the crowd chanting DEFENSE DEFENSE while we were on defense on some big third down plays!!! You guys rocked the house!
Went to the game with my son. We were totally spent and hoarse by the end of the game. We sat in the Metlife takeover section and it was awesome. As bad as things were going, the groups energy level never waned. Chants of "Defense" and J-E-T-S...suck,suck,suck, got louder as the game went on. Favorite part of the night was the sections singing of the Miami Dolphin Fight song serenading Jet fans sulking out of the stadium at the end. Phin fans fist bumping and hi fiving anyone and everyone wearing Aqua and Orange. The train rides were crowded going home but...my 15 yr old son's comment to me that this was one of the best nights of his life, made getting home at 1:30 a.m. a joy. Father and son, with arms around each other, smiling ear to ear....PRICELESS
Popped in there a few weeks ago on a work visit. If I am ever back in town on a Sunday that is where I am going for sure!!
Jet fans last night looked obviously OVERWHELMED by the sheer number of Phin fans and how loud they were as a group.
Didn't have any issues with Jets fans last year. I didn't even sit with the DolfansNYC, but there were still lots of Phins fans in each section, and even more this year thanks to Jets fans unloading tickets or just not showing up. Since you're losing the Dolphins game in Miami against the Jets, come up for the other "home" game if you can. Those guys dressed as Gorillas I always see on TV at Joe Robbie were even at Metlife last night, they got on ESPN. Yeah might go for that one too depending. I'll drag my Giants fan brother now hoping the Phins make the playoffs or go alone, everyone is a friend on Gameday!
Your team's CEO thanks you: Tom Garfinkel @TomGarfinkel now12 seconds ago Congrats to @DolfansNYC You guys were in full force last night!
thats what I'm talking about, acknowledgement..publicity..take some steps to improve home experience.
