Right. This **** about getting rid of tanny is stupid. He is a very good nfl qb when he has an NFL OL in front of him. This sieve he has would make manning look like ****. He can't get a pass to the flat because the play is over before the RB gets there. Tanny is the least of their troubles.

No. Apparently Philbin thinks Thomas is better.

Haha, I hear ya. I friggin started Kenny Stills over Mike Evans (Stills, Antonio Brown, and Josh Gordon). I have a whopping 0.90 points from stills. Evans scored 2 TDs.

Philbin and staff are done, Tannehill is done, they are all done. I don't care if we bring anybody back. This team chokes every year in the big moments. It's an organization full of lovers from the owner to the freaking water boy.

The Ravens lost one of their best defensive players and were starting a practice squad secondary and had no problem embarrassing us yet again. Philbin is not a very good coach. Period.

This team will beat New England and Minnesota only to lose to the jets and completely eliminate us. That's the crap this team pulls.

Like I said, I am no fan of Philbin. In fact I don't know how anybody could be. But this game was there for the taking. Gibson's drop was critical. Pouncey's penalty on the long pass was critical. The oline collapse in the goal to go situation was critical.

    That's not coaching. That's execution.

I should be happy, but I'm actually a bit sad that we're likely going to be blowing it all up again this year.

But the team has no margin for those sorts of errors. That's a big part of the problem.

Not to worry...we'll have a new coach soon. And probably a new defense and possibly a new QB. Although it sucks as a fan, rebuilding is an exciting time.

This does bring back some memories of past failures...with the first pick in the draft, we picked Jake Long. In the same draft, the Ravens took Flacco. They are a SB and perennial playoff team, we are perennial losers, about to be on our third HC since that draft...pathetic turn of events.

That is what I don't get. He had 0 time to throw. He has a deep target who doesn't give a ****, and an OC who bases his O on 5 yard passes. RT is the least of their issues.

Their not talented enough to overcome these plays. You just had to know when Gibson dropped that pass that it would be the beginning of the end. It speaks to the fragile psyche of this team.

I'm not confident we can get it right, choosing a new coach.

Problem is we keep on cycling through coaches and the talent still sucks. We've plugged a lot of holes on our roster with FA signings who have underperformed because we've been so inept at drafting for so long.

I think this team still is in rebuilding mode and needs to fill some major holes on offense. Bottom line is you cannot win in this league if you have a horrible OL, horrible tackling, playmakers dropping balls and not putting maximum effort out there. You can if you have an elite QB but I don't think RTH will ever be one. This isn't all on him but he has some serious holes in his game.

While Baltimore has some holes in their secondary, they still have a dominant OL, a dominant front 7, playmakers who make plays and a very good QB. There's really only one position group or area of their team that Miami has the edge. Baltimore is better QB, receivers, RB's, OL, DL, LB's and special teams.

They were a perennial playoff team before Flacco, don't act like he would have turned our team around.

How anyone can blame this on T-Hill is delusional. He's the only one out there that was keeping this close. That and we gotta stop decommitting to the run.

Philbin has to go. Tannehill; meh, not emotional either way. He is what those GMs said he was...just a guy, nothing special. I am thinking we bring in someone like Sam Bradford (if RT goes or not) and try to draft one in the first couple of rounds. Then of course, we need to spend the rest of the draft on OLmen. Nothing else matters. Get a QB, and protect him. In succeeding years, we can fix other areas that are weak.

But Tannehill can't complete a long ball even when he has protection. That kind of limitation in the modern NFL is fatal. If he doesn't spend every day of the offseason practicing throwing long balls to his receivers, I don't see the value in signing him long term.
