If they get rid of Tannehill you can bet on many years of a search that will go on through several bad QBs. Meanwhile, Tannehill will be picked up by another team and will be a pro-bowl QB. He has shown signs of excellence and needs to right pieces around him, including coaches, to go that next step.

The scary thing about how bad our OL has been the last couple of seasons is when we cut our starters no one event wants them as backups.

Yes RT has issues there, but when he does nail the throw the WR's fail. The long ball isn't just a RT issue. It is an offense issue.

Don't disagree. But when you see moves that we could've made and didn't...and we suck. And the team that makes the moves has won SB...its stunning.

If Phins had a Cowher type coach then no way would the Dolphins be the biggest question mark going into every freekin game.

He can't throw past 15 yards with accuracy. He's a dink and dunk quarterback.

We could do a lot worse than Tannehill. For now we just need a new coach and if we were to get an opportunity for a QB upgrade then fine.

Anyone who watched that game and does not solely place the blame on the the OLine when it comes to the offensive side of the ball is just not watching. Tannehill was getting killed back there. Thomas didnt even get in anyones way.

Is this going to turn into an anti/ pro Tannehill thread?? Are there not 15 other things wrong with this team, that THAT will be the focus?

Anyone have thoughts on Wake and Vernon's inconsistency? Do they just feast on poor opponents and get shut down by good ones?

That's hogwash. The rollout to Wallace was a ridiculous throw - 31 yards on a rope. The missed TD was a throw to a spot that Wallace misjudged and made no play on.

To Mike Wallace. He's completed deep balls to others. With how bad the O-line still is, he doesn't have enough time to throw deep.

Let me ask the question then. Those that want a new QB, who? There are probably 3 QB's that are going to receive 1st round grades this year. Winston is 1 mistake away from going to prison. Mariotta likely won't have a long career in the NFL. Who do you draft? Who do you sign? I honestly don't know where you go with QB this year.

I agree about the deep ball issue with Tannehill. You can only put a band aide on that gaping wound for so long.
In his defense Mike Wallace is our only vertical threat and he's an overrated one at that.

At some point, the buck has to stop, and you have to get it done. There is a reason why our offense is based on five-yard passes hoping for yards after catch, which every coordinator in the league has figured out how to stop. Just hit the long ball, so you can stretch the field, or sit down.

Correction, he can't throw a deep ball to Wallace. It's so easy to forget that Wallace does zero to help on his end. No way this loss can be put on RT. There is no room to move in the pocket one a 3 step drop let alone trying to set up to try to throw it down field.

I don't know what he's supposed to do when he gets killed on every play he holds the ball for longer than 2 seconds on.

Switch QBs and Baltimore still wins imo. It was a footrace to Tannehill all game. Every year we just can't fix the O-line... injuries suck but gdamn.

You can't throw deep without time. Besides, Wallace needs a perfect pass 50 yards downfield to even have a chance. That's just not realistic. He needs to be able to adjust to balls and contest the ball in one on one situations. He does neither.

Lol that is so not true. Tannehill makes plenty of plays (mostly while on the run) 15+ yards downfield...when the O line blocks.

RT can't catch it too. The only vertical threat we have is wallace. He has world class speed. RT has overthrown him constantly, which should not be a problem. He is a lazy *** receiver. Guarantee someone like Demarius Thomas back there and RT would nail 65%+ on the deep ball.

Those who can....re-watch the game. Before you blame people who had little to do with this loss...re-watch it. Watch the OLine and our LBs. the tape never lies....never

Wallace definitely isn't going to do that because he already thinks he's an elite WR in the league because he can run really fast.

Yeah I thought the attraction to Wallace was that you couldn't overthrow him. Lovely how that worked out.

The only time Brady ever looked efficient throwing downfield was when he had Moss...a player you truly could not overthrow.

Fans believe what they want to believe and if enough people agree with you then it must be true.

This concept plagues football more than any other sport.

The OL, the DL, the LB's, the DB's, the WR's the coordinators, and the Refs were all a bigger issue today than RT.

For the anti-Tannehill crowd, 2 seconds is plenty of time to go through his progressions. I don't know a QB out there that could run a consistent offense getting pummeled likeRT does.
