Sorry have to disagree.Defence quit when they were only down by 1 point. Lazor is a moron for not keeping a back in the help thomas.
So who does everyone want to win the Superbowl now? I'm leaning towards the Packers and Eagles. Would love to see Sanchez shine away from the Jets.
Our season is basically over. Some people have either second favorite teams or teams they like each year. So...might as well look at that.
Ya and that's where we differ. You think the defense would still quit if we wouldn't have gotten absolutely robbed. I dont. Again, still not surprising
A little college football for me and then moving on to the upcoming MLB season. I'm used to moving on from football before Christmas at this point.
Team YET AGAIN takes on the humdrum personality of its uninspiring head coach who lacks that IT factor needed to get his team up, focused, confident, and consistent on a weekly basis. Rex Ryan would have this talented, underachieving team at 8-5 or 9-4 right now via an infusion of passion, fire, energy, and improved game-planning.
Season is far from over, people. You all forget how EVERYTHING broke our way last year (aside from our own sh-t against Jets/Bills)?? Weird things happen. We can beat the Pats.
I agree with you 100%. The sad thing is that when the Jets fire him Stephen Ross will not have enough sense to fire Philbin and bring Rex in right away. He's our best shot at an immediate upgrade.
I'd say the Packers. I've never disliked them, and Lambeau Field is awesome. If you or anyone on this board ever gets a chance to go, go. Treat yourself. It is Football Mecca.
I would love sexy rexy as headcoach. i havent like philbin since hard knocks he didnt seem very inspiring to me.
The sad thing is that Ross doesn't take advice from angry fans on message boards? Llllllmmmmmmaaaaaaoooooo.
It's over, This moron Lazor has had now 13 games, and he still cannot call plays. He is still no more than a position coach. Bring back Sherman, please!
Honestly man if Arizona can hang on that'd be great. Hard to hate a team that shares the same struggles as your own. Thing is AZ has pretty much been relevant since 2008.
And how the **** do you throw it down the field when your OL is getting beat within 2 seconds on every damn play. Tannehill got his *** kicked out there yet people fail to see that. Amazing.
Really? Have we been watching the same team for the last few weeks. The team I've been watching is going to get it's *** handed to them, it's not going to be close.
This OL is pretty f'ing terrible and beat up. But we still could try for 30 yards or more in the air once in awhile. Go shotgun.
Yeah, I'm sure he listens on some issues, issues that fans are knowledgeable on. Are the bathrooms clean, do the uniforms look good? If you think he listens to the fan base with regard to coaching changes then I dunno what to tell you.
Disagree completely. You think Ross doesn't have knowledgable phin fans heckling him now and again? You don't think Stephen Ross has someone in his ear telling him "Dude Philbin sucks can his ***" And for all we know it's Marino.
We have to get over that hill that we have been trying to get over for the last 10 years, 2008 was a gimmick, but we have been rebuilding ever since Ricky left us. We are a joke to everyone else, we are the team, that when we are on MNF or TNF people talk about how they rather watch Dancing With the stars over our team. We seem to always play down to our opponents. Man this team is so close but so far at the same time. Its ****ing frustrating. **** Giant fans who complain about Eli Manning, you won two super bowls in 7 years, Id give anything to see my team in one. Every time Miami is in position to do good, I always have in the back of my mind that they are going to blow it, and 9 of 10 times, they do. Its sad, frustrating, disheartening, annoying. Something needs to change, we need to do something, anything, but for once, we need to do it right. To many failures, 2002 losing to Vikings and then Patriots, I still remember that viking game. Ricky leaving, Saban, 1-15, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and now. Seriously only 1 playoff season since 2001. Get your **** together.
I didn't say second favorite. I said teams they generally like. For example I've always generally liked the Packers. I don't follow them, if they are on I may or may not watch, but Id probably want them to win if not us.
Yep...Same Ol' Dolphins. Nothing changed. They aren't "closer", they aren't "getting" there. They are weak minded, weak willed, and get pushed around in big games. The only thing the new coach has to decide is whether or not he totally breaks the roster down (Wake, Wallace, Starks, Grimes, etc...) and bites the salary cap bullet, and builds on the youth of James, Landry, Miller, Sims, etc. Then what to do with Pouncey and Tannehill. That's the question. I think SF has some interesting options on their staff other than Harbaugh. Their DL coach is an interesting guy...There are plenty of others.
What knowledgeable fan would heckle the team owner? FTR I don't like Philbin, never have. I was criticizing him before it was en vogue, back when all of our losses were Ireland's fault so I don't need to be lectured on his deficiencies. As for Marino, or anyone else whispering to Ross. I dunno. They could just as easily be saying that Philbin's doing a good job. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to tell him the season is over, so and so sucks, or any of the garbage that's being thrown around in here.
You realize we can acknowledge the team s**t the bed while also acknowledging the fact that refs made sure it happened by hosing us? Were we even watching the same game?
Yes. But this team isn't strong enough physically, mentally, or emotionally to win "playoff" games. I am not complaining about the refs, because today they were irrelevant. Right now, these Fins are are avg or slightly below.
