Three straight seasons without a playoff berth is usually a death sentence for a coach but anything is possible with this franchise.

Id rather have the Skeletor toy from the car commercial as our head coach at this point. Skeletor...a guy made of bone, has more balls than Joe.

    Philbin is a walking corpse.

But hey, what do we know... we've been saying this for a year while others said it was RIDICULOUS "What do you want Joe yelling and jumping on the sidelines????"

No, just a spine, a heartbeat and enough balls for MEN to respect him.

Because most men I know on this board, AND seemingly many on the team DO NOT.

He cannot be a leader because he is not an alpha. In any way shape or form.

Perhaps the only reason you have a guy calling plays in the NFL who has never been an OC in the NFL is because no one with OC experience in the NFL wanted to come to Miami and work with Philbin.

If being an average head coach with a mediocre record after 45 games as the Dolphins head coach somehow equates to being great, I obviously have a different definition for the word great than you do.

I think it is now time to be looking for a replacement for your idea of a great head coach. Hopefully Ross will give Harbaugh an offer he can't refuse.

Why? Cause he can't reach a playoff with Bill Lazor? This injured roster with Dallas Thomas at RT?

Joe Philbin is one of the rare coaches in the league who is building a dominant team. We still have a lot Ireland shat to weed out on this team.
We are not ready for the playoffs, we were not ready when the year started, and the fact that you want it makes no less likely. The roster needs to improve, the QB needs to improve, and certainly the OC must improve this being his only 13th game in the NFL as OC.

Not ready to crucify staff just yet. This was the most blatantly slanted game I have seen called in a very long time.

Philbin hired Lazor. Handed him total autonomy over the offense. If you think Lazor sucks, what does it say about the guy who hired him?

I don't like Harbaugh. At all.

And at this point, I still say hand him a blank check and let him write whatever numbers he wants on it.

    Still waiting homeboy.

Was the offense still fun to watch btw? Because I know that's one of your favorite 'Philbin' things.

    No clue why.

Is there anything that Philbin did TODAY that warrants major criticism? I only ask bc there's a lot of let's blame JP and attack anyone who disagrees going on.

Bro did you even watch the game?

We came out swinging, ready, pumped, plan was in place, players were ready, we were rolling.

We have issues at OC, dude is inexperienced (and he is also an idiot.)

We have issues at right tackle, interior Oline, Gibson dropping passes, Damian Williams played and could not make a yard on two attempts, dropped a pass.. Not to mention Wheeler, Wilson, Trusnik, Jordan. After we started balanced and rolled, and Philbin said in the presser this week he wants balanced attack, Lazor went back to strictly passing.

The system is in place, it works, OC is facking us up with unbalanced attack, which has cost us most losses this year. You cannot trust Ryan Tannehill to win games, and therefore there must be a running attack all the time, balanced with passing. Lazor went away from running the ball starting in the 2nd Q. Also, we have clear personnel issues that will be addressed in the offseason because Ireland messed us up and also because of injuries.

Tannehill has improved under Philbin a lot more than Kaepernick has under Harbaugh.

    Philbin HIRED Lazor.

Philbin doesn't coach Tannehill. He lets his coordinators do that for him. He's busy spell checking. srs...

Queasy is the head coach, it's on him leaving Thomas at tackle and its on him not adjusting the blocking scheme to help him out. As far as a dominant team, please! How can that ever happen with that idiot Coyle running the defense.

It can happen when your GM gets Dareus and Mario and Kyle Williams. When your GM can get it done, you get dominant defense.

But in fairness to Hickey, we have been so depleted due to drafting, we are bereft of top talent. I don't want to repeat here the bad drafts and poor talent acquisition over the years.

Interesting how you talk about how bad the Oline is.....

...and Then complain about the game plan wondering why we don't run more or take shots down the field.

    Mind boggling at this point.

"Ugh, why isn't this car with 3 tires going fast enough!!!!"
