Sure we have no real chance. Sure our RT should be wearing plastic gloves and wearing a hair bonnet while serving hot lunch at school. Sure Quesy McFee is our head coach. In fact I can't think of any real reason why we should win the rest of our games. But I woke up this am and listened to all the cry babies on QAM.. And said I ain't gonna be that guy. I heart Miami Dolphins. Beat the **** out of Brady.. And let's somehow someway get ourselves into the God Damned playoffs. I ain't ready for this season to be over yet. Here's to being a blind *** fan!
I just did the playoff machine a few ways, and we got into playoffs both times at 10-6. Somehow someway we have to beat the Patriots. Can you imagine...when it looks like we should be dead and buried. WE CAN WIN!
Dallas Thomas at tackle will make the task impossible. A porous run D, terrible secondary and piss poor defensive effort will make it improbably beyond anything we have recently faced. I'd be suprised if we don't get blown out by 30 points. The Patriots are superior in every phase of the game including coaching.
I will not give up!!!!! Look, yeah it sucks we lost yesterday and the whole game was an indictment on this organization. I thought for a small amount of time we had turned the corner. We did not come out flat and was playing well until.......... until we weren't. WE CAN STILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. Yeah, its an outside shot and yeah we have to go to NE and win but until we are out, we still can be in. LETS GO PHINS!
As Jekyll and Hyde as this team has been, why not. As long as no one is saying "Hey this team might be a serious contender" we seem to play well.
I've been watching the Dolphins since the 1984 season. I think I may take off next Sunday. Kind of tired of wasting my weekends with this team.
I wouldn't be surprised if we put up a fight and possibly beat the Patriots somehow with the perfect game. I would be surprised if we followed that win up with any heart in the next two games at home.
We have no home-field advantage.. Yesterday was a road game. Our fan base has become utterly pathetic as well. Simply put this franchise is a loser franchise. This franchise is the old salesman in Glengarry Glen Ross. We need Harbaugh here to give this type of attitude.
Been watching since 1973. I truly believe that next week will be a disaster...really have no doubts about that...at all. But, I enjoy being a Dolphin fan, I enjoy looking forward to sundays and watching them. It is really too late to change that. It really stinks that we will have another off season of what ifs again. I will try to get some enjoyment out of these last 3 games, have no choice. After that we will have to wait 9 months until we see another...ugh BTW, one of my all time favorite scenes in a movie is that speech by Alec Baldwin! i can almost recite it word for word.
Keep dreaming about JH, after the love fest between him and Davis Sunday. They're probably discussing money in this picture.
I like your analagies of the team, but it may have seemed like a lot of Ravens fans at the end of the game because all the Fins fans left in the middle of the 4th qtr.
Vinny, come on...really? When was the last time we beat Brady in NE? Never. When was the last time they lost at home vs the AFC? 2006. What is Brady's record at home vs the AFC? 67-8. We are banged up and playing poorly...gonna be ugly.
We don't deserve to be in the playoffs. If we can't even beat the ravens at home, what makes you think we can make any noise in the playoffs. Our season is toast, I really hate that I care so much about this team. It would be great to beat the pats but at this point, let's just sweep the jets and be done with it.
We beat them in '08. Without Brady but still on the road. Anyway I won't be watching. Lost all enthusiasm for this season.
My kinda situation...down, beat up, counted out...recipe for the "upset" enroute to 10-6 and a playoff appearance.
Was really talking about us and our performance there...not to a Super Bowl caliber team in the playoffs. I will watch and root like hell, but I see a butt kicking from a better team at home vs a team limping in and injury ravaged. How anyone can be confident of our chances next sunday is baffling
All that just tells me we are due for a win up there. Eventually. Though I'm not as excited as I'd have been if we beat the Ravens.
That was 6 seasons ago, like you said, NO BRADY. I have to watch, I just know what is in store for us after beating them opening day. I will be more upset about losing to the Ravens at home in a big spot than getting blown in New England.
Stranger things have happened...But the Pats could run the ball at us 40 times or throw it 40 times, Heck they could throw it and run it at us equally. How will this defense stop them at all? We have given up 600+ yrds on the ground in our last 3, Might have Jimmy Wilson and RJ Stanford in our secondary vs a team with a HOFer at QB in a place they rarely ever lose. We are playing in Dec.(not our strong suit) vs a team that wants Home field and revenge against us, Damn. I just depressed myself!
Eternal optimism...that's all. IDC what the odds are, doesn't matter. Division games are exempt. I don't ever give up, until it's over.
Bumrush has 13,000 posts and says he's missing the game Sunday. I feel the pain but you know we're tuning in and rooting our butts off. It's really simple. We had to get real fortunate on injuries this year because the depth just isn't there. Knowshon would have helped us so much. So we get him for one whole game. How definite was it that Brandon Albert, one of the main reasons our offense had some credibility, would go down with a season ending injury. Just in time for our playoff run. Defense decimated and hobbled. Every team has injuries but we didn't have the quality depth to deal with the next man up thing. Our HC is weaker than circus lemonade and our Dline, Randy Starks, especially can't stop the run all of a sudden and Dallas Thomas is starting RT. Perfect impression of Clabo. Anyway, typical Dolphins, we beat NE and we're all shaking our heads.
