Pats are slow af on D. We exposed them with spread youth and speed in game 1. Nothing changed, they are still slow.

That 5-2 blitzing look we gave Brady in gm 1 is old news. I don't think Brady can beat us w his arm, but his pace. They run quick offense and we've been misaligned and biting recently, leaving large land for taking. I would rush4 against Brady and leave 7 behind to cover land.

How do you account for the improvement of their OL, Brandon Browner now playing and a newfound dedication to the running game? All of which changed from Week 1

I think this match-up is going to go quite differently than during week 1.

The Patriots have chosen to run the ball in a couple different games to expose their weak opponents. I don't see why they wouldn't do it against Miami.

And how many times are people going to tell me the key to a game is Miami going deep?

    Seriously...haha...

How do you account for, division games don't care. Doesn't matter who's been doing what...it's a whole 'nother monster.

I don't think their O line is anything special. They run offense at fast space, fastest I've seen this year (from snap, not necessarily from gameclock.) Brady was not playing as fast in gm 1. As far as run, they do the same thing every year, overload power formation.

Because they run power formations and mix it up with pass at fast tempo, they mix personnel quickly and go from power formation to spread from snap to snap, it's critical that Dion Jordan plays heavy snaps, because he has to be responsible size wise for Gronk in runs, and speed wise for Gronk in pass situations. I would not feel comfortable with safeties taking that responsibility or anyone else. And this theory has been a proven recipe in past games. (The issue of course is that Dion Jodan is at 280 lbs.)

It would also be helpful to have Reshad on Edelman imo. Reshad plays fast, and even tho there is a mismatch there with Edelman's quickness, Reshad is a good tackler so the hope is that we limit long plays. Aikens is an option too.

This would leave Grimes on a weaker receiver where he has an advantage, and he is a playmaker. Those are some of the key defensive matchups to set up and have our guys tail their playmakers as they mix pass and run.

I predict a win since I won't get to watch the game in my orange Zach Thomas jersey. Violin recital.

Good game today - big mistakes overcome with some nice play. Can't believe that last play[emoji28]
