But we are.. Lamar Miller averages 4.9 ypc i think? The problem is we don't have a power back for short yardage situations.

 

This still isn't good. A lot of time came off the clock. Now they up 11. Offense needs a TD next drive. If they don't then it will officially be over. Can't come back against the pats giving them the ball back. If it is 4th and short again next drive and they punt then Philbin should have his balls cut off.

He is getting older and his play over the last several weeks has shown a decline in his play making ability.

Parcells traded Jason Taylor to the Redskins while he still had some value. Perhaps Hickey will see what he can get for Wake once the season is over.

one individual players success does not make us a good running team. We cannot run the ball when it matters(short yardage, goal line or to close out a game). Part of that is not having a good power back. Which makes us ineffective as a team.

 

Anyone else worry that Landry gives up a safety with his back of the end zone casualness? I know momentum can pull you out but he seems to cut it close sometimes.
