The Bills are one of the best franchises when it comes to talent acquisition. They have a GM who knows what h is doing. We have not had a GM in 40 years who did anything of any significance in building a D.

I'm not mad either. The season ended last week.

I hope Ross proves me wrong and really brings in someone who is capable of fixing this team. Otherwise, I am beginning to loose whatever passion I had left. I still watch but I have very little emotion left.

I used to want to break ****, and yell and scream. I think if I had a blood pressure machine attached it wouldn't change no matter what happens.

Part of the problem is, no one wants to come here as long as Brady & Belicheck are at NE. Everyone knows that immediately puts you in no better than a WC season for your team. It's a bigger problem for Ross in getting decent candidates to interview than people want to acknowledge.

I would say that I am sure that is part of it. But in the grand scheme of things it is a very small part.

People don't or didn't want to come here because of the perceived power scheme and struggle. Just like the Hicky hire. Wasn't there when he was hired but he may very well be on his way out along with Philbin.

Hypothetically if Harbough leaves SF and told Ross he would come here if he had ultimate control of everything, do you think Ross would say NO? I think based on what I have seen He just might.

I don't trust Ross to do whatever is necessary to win.....he doesn't get it, and I am afraid never will.

The December swoon in full effect. Miami Dolphins tradition since 2002 (well, aside from the seasons they've been totally 1-5 win terrible, the swoon began in September those years)! And they get to play the Vikings in week 16 like in 2002.

That's actually an interesting point you raise.

Hopefully the current roster, the presence of a decent QB and the hint of decline we've seen at times from NE this year will bode well for us.

Look, Brady is getting older. That's not debatable. His touch and placement on down-field throws is becoming less consistent than it once was.

That O-line also has issues. We've consistently pressured Brady during the last few meetings.

There's no question that the Pats are more vulnerable than they've been in a decade.

The Patriots (while in decline) still whooped us today.

And yet my points still stand.

People get older and they aren't as good.

That's why stats are misleading again. They scored 7 off STs, and 2 TDs off picks on our 4 and 25. That's 21 easy pts.

Pats have won the last 11 of 12 years AFC East titles

except 2008, when Brady went down with knee injury and we won division with Pennington

You can't be serious - stats are misleading?

Its the score dude 41-13. We got our asses handed to us across the board - up, down, left and right

I'm kind of on the fence about the point ASOT made. True, it seems futile to go up against Brady and Belichick, but coaches at this level are highly competitive.

Take a look at Arians with Arizona. At the time he made his decision, the Seahawks and 49ers were dominating and now they're at the top of the division.

I'm not saying we're gonna be so lucky but it's possible.

With the exception of 2008, it seems like umpteen years ago we've been in the playoffs

Fair enough but it seems like since the last 6 yrs that Mr. Ross has been the owner the results have been the same, however I'm not going to put it all on him or coach Philbin because there comes a time when the players themselves have to have an attitude to want to take the next step to get to the next level.

The majority of the problems on this team can be directly tied to Jeff Ireland.

Look at the roster and you'll see that most of this team is still Jeff Ireland's creation.

It's going to take more than a season to dig ourselves out of the mess he made.

Aside from WR I think (when healthy) we actually have a good amount of talent. Enough to be better than we have been anyway.

I've been singing the praises of Hickey's off-season all year. I've said several times in this forum that with another couple years, those kinds of off-season pick-ups would put in right smack in the heart of the Play-offs.

I'd like to move Wallace and Wake for picks. I think the former is too expensive and the latter is losing trade value by the month. We need to commit to Jordan anyway. I'm optimistic that good coaching and more reps will straighten him out.

I would move Pouncey back to Center and focus on finding at least one (if not two) really good Guard in the off-season, whether it's a high draft pick or a free agent.

We're thin at DT and Starks is on the verge of retirement so I wouldn't be against a high-value DT prospect in the draft in rounds 1 or 2.

Cortland Finnegan is on the way out as well so while Davis and Taylor are possibilities to emerge, CB is a clear need.

    Then there's Phillip Wheeler.

So ideally, I'd move Wake and Wallace for picks and make OG, DT and CB my primary areas of concern.

Then I would do what I could with WR and OLB.

Bro I understand your frustration but there isn't really a play that you have for 3rd and 26.
