I don't even freaking care any more. The Dolphins have leached all the joy and enthusiasm out of watching football for me.
I know cant even watch anymore games today.Well maybe its time to find something better to do on sundays than watch this replay of the last three years. At least te progress guys arent posting anymore of thier bull**** today.
Kidding, angry man. "Mass pro" works on occasion, or vs a blitz, it's not something you can get away with consistently bc your 2 or 3 WRs will be smothered by 6-7 defenders. What does work is staying balanced, which we did in the 1st quarter then ditched afterwards. If Sherman was OC there's be a dozen threads on how he sucked but since it's the golden boy calling plays...
You said it yourself- it's a MESSAGE BOARD, and Muscle is simply commenting on it, not creating a friggin' petition to have mailed to Stephen Ross. You comment about the team all the time as well [you know- since it's a forum about the MIAMI DOLPHINS], so I fail to see your need for condescension. You act like it's preposterous to criticize the head coach of a talented, underachieving team that's teetering on .500, especially when Rex Ryan has actually brought his team to the PLAYOFFS and back-to-back AFC Championship games despite having no greater talent on his roster than Miami does now.
It's not going to be a great week to live in Maryland. It must have been too much to ask for to just get one win over these guys. Now I have to try to save face after being stupid enough to tell locals that we had a good chance to win this one.
I know what ur saying but with that secondary they needed to take a couple of shots.Just they were sitting on those short routes the whole game.At least keep a back or chip with te when u know thomas was being manhandled.
So the hell what? You REALLY think this team will do anything but choke down the stretch? Have you forgotten last year, with the same coach, same QB, basically the same defense, etc...? This team is Lucy putting down the ball and daring us to try to kick it. I'm pretty damned tired of playing Charlie Brown year after year. It's time for the owner to take a freaking chance and go big or go home. Get a real head coach. Get a real front office. Enough with this second-string bullsh**.
I see wake didn't even have a tackle - another game where hes a no show - about time to get his replacement
Lmao I know a pro football team who can't even remotely throw the deep ball. Pathetic. Until this offense can stretch the field more they will continue to be mediocre. Dinking and dunking down the field the opposing team will catch up to that. That's why we attempt so many field goals. Too conservative and predictable.
Lol the Charlie Brown analogy is spot on. They get our hopes up only to lose the games that really count in December.
Did you really expect anything different? I did not. We have a coach with no fire. We have a QB that everyone has elevated because his stats look good when he throws for the shortest completion yards in the league. We suck on 3rd down. We suck in the 4th quarter. We can not use our weapons properly because we can not protect the QB that has no pocket awareness and can not hit the big one dating back to his first start in college. Should we go on to the problems on the other side of the ball?
Correct. This was bound to happen. Need to make changes. New coaches, more help at O line, linebackers except for Jenkins, CB, and a big play maker at TE or WR.
The only upside is that if you rolled the dice and got 1 or 2 of the things you mentioned, that would probably have been enough to get over the hump this year. We did acquire two outstanding Tackles this year and solved an issue that has plagued us for years. If we repeat that success with the Guard position next offseason, we're probably 2 or 3 games better by that feat alone. It's disappointing, but you have to keep perspective.
yeah there are some positives this year. Lamar Miller, Landry, Jenkins have done well. James has done well too. Good young talent that the team can build on. Before Albert going down the offensive line was actually doing a fairly decent job. Shifting the O line around has hurt us. Next year having Albert and James back at right tackle will be great. Then Pouncey back at center and hopefully a couple guards to go along with that. Get one in free agency and draft another. O line will be set. Tannehill having D line in his face every play has really hurt. Another strong offseason and this team will do good.
...you were right about getting the big receiving target though. It's sort of like when we had Pennington throwing deep to Ginn. That did make any sense, lol. Or Henne throwing touch passes underneath to Bess. We just need WRs and TEs that compliment our QB. Size and hands for us should take priority over speed.
I replied at that moment. Your timing was a bag of balls hence.....but..i still do not care that much if i'm still wearing my potential Playoff head from a few weeks ago. Memories eh?...more like DE JA VU! same old..same old alas.
I will say this I used to keep track of our players and all but I cant because nobody really stands out and the Denver game we were exposed and its clear that we will get beat by nearly anyone until we get some coaches.
