Terrible throw from tannehill there. However, why are Gibson and Clay running into each other on their routes? Either that's a really poor play design, or someone really screwed up out there. Given the throw to nowhere but the safety, that could have been really costly

 

It was obvious Clay didn't do what was expected give that he and Gibson ran into each other.

I disagree. Clay barely got his finger tips on it. Too far outside, too much heat. Only way clay makes that catch is if his arms are about a foot longer.

I've watched a ton of games this year, Teddy was forced into action with that Cassel injury. He's really grown. I think with Cassel at QB the whole year, they would be in the wild card race...

How many times has Tannehill been hit today? Seemingly after every pass he's on the ground. That tells me he didn't have time to really wait and step into a bunch of these throws. Throwing early and off balance will make any QB look pretty bad...
