I'd pick the same guys so you're close! :)

    1. Tannehill - Took his game up a notch and the numbers reflect it
    2. Miller - Almost 1100 yards behind a questionable O-line, nice break-out season with a lot of tough yards
    3. Wake - W being W
    4. Grimes - G being G
    5. Wallace - Put up 10 TDs doing stuff he usually doesn't do.
    6. James - Stated at both RT and LT as a rookie, that's killer.
    7. Landry - Broke onto the scene and had one of the best rookie seasons by a Dolphins in years, 80+ catches, Jeez dude.
    8. Jenkins - Stepped up and probably claimed a starting job for next year
    9. Jones - Came on strong and played more like the old Jones
    10. Misi/Odrick/Albert - Misi switched inside for the first time in his career, Odrick was solid and Albert was a big upgrade until he got injured.

I agree with your guys, Greg, but I think I would have put Wallace above Grimes...at least until the fiasco on Sunday. Probably still would, though. I know, hard to believe the supposed Wallace hater would think him to be one of the best on the team.

I can't put Grimes at 1 because he wasn't very good down the stretch.

The only problem is that Grimes (as RR pointed out) wasn't great coming down the stretch.

The doubt I had with Wallace was the 850 or so yards he had while being the primary WR. I like the 10 TDs but the 850 yards is kind of lame, right? :)

Hmmm.....this is interesting, but I'll play:

    1. Ju'Waun James - Solid play, even when Albert went down and he had to switch positions. He gets the nod because he was a rook.
    2. Lamar Miller - He was so not the #1 when Moreno was in there. While he had a nagging injury or two, he toughed it out and really ran with power when his build doesn't necessarily call for tough yards. Kudos!
    3. Mike Wallace - Yes, the diva came out yesterday, but he really impressed me with his going up for balls and making some really tough catches, something we didn't see in 2013. A few of those TDs were from his pure will alone.
    4. Jarvis Landry - Impressive for a rook. Fire? He's got it. Toughness? He has that, too. He needs to learn when to fold them, because he did have a few inopportune hiccups. But for a rookie, I'll take it. He can work on ball security.
    5. Brandon Albert - He probably should be higher, but he certainly took this line to the next level in terms of overall consistent play. Hate the injury. He is a leader, as well.
    6. Ryan Tannehill - I half expected him to be better this year, and he has been. He is learning the little things, and it has brought up his overall play, and his stats reflect that. He still needs work, but I am on board with him moving forward.
    7. Brent Grimes - He is lower on this list because I expected him to do well. Faded a little towards the end, but the D overall faded in the latter part of the season.
    8. Jelani Jenkins - How about coming in and playing some really solid ball after the starters went down??? He came in and I think the defense was better for it. I expect better things next year! I should probably put him in Tanny's place, but I am a little too lazy to cut and paste.
    9. Samson Satele - Laugh at me, but he played decently and allowed for the Mike Pouncey experiment.....which wasn't always bad. I think the team did what they thought was best. We knew Satele isn't a mauler, but understanding the right calls in his first year in this system says a lot (in his defense). I do not know if you necessarily move forward with him, but I do appreciate what he brought to the team this year.
    10. Dion Sims - In-line blocking pretty good, stunt blocking bad. Regardless, he has shown he can catch some of these tougher passes, and has become more reliable as the season progressed. Bigger target who is a little stiff, but his hands improved as Miami got deeper into the season. He's a keeper.

*Honorable mention: Dion Jordan - turns out, he does have an impact on the game even when he doesn't make the play. And hey, that Megatron one-on-one play was just impressive.

I was also thinking of both Satele and Sims for their solid contributions--more so Satele. Sims wasn't involved in every game-plan.

Forgot about Mitchell, though he seemed to tire towards the end. Jones did pretty well for a stretch there, too.

    1) Jenkins - What a breakout year... made some big plays. Showed great vision. Looked even better considering he was one of the few defenders who could actually make tackles.
    2) Tannehill- Another step forward. He was the offensive MVP.
    3) Albert - When he was in the lineup. Line reverted back to 2013 caliber the instant he went down.
    4) Miller- Ran much harder this year. Showed consistency with his performance from week to week. Huge year.
    5) Grimes - Seemed to burn out with the rest of the defense, but he had some high points early/mid year. Hello Detroit!
    6) Landry - Didn't expect that. Great hands and vision. Runs reliable routes and excelled in special teams.
7)Jones- He made big plays and came back from suspension hungry. My confidence in him is renewed.
8)James- Solid rookie year at right tackle. Nice to have two high picks actually exceed my expectations.
    9) Wake- He was still Cam Wake, but not his best year.
10)Sims- Just based on the potential he showed last couple weeks. Excited about him going forward.

Cameron Wake was still the best player on the team and I'm not sure how he can be so low on these lists unless people are kind of arbitrarily setting their standards for what exactly a higher ranking means relative to a lower ranking, and/or just ranking certain guys high based on a platform agenda to talk about certain players.

To me there are two options as far as setting your qualifications for higher ranking. This is either an MVP list, which would usually mean that the top player is going to be your quarterback...or this list denotes how a player performed relative to his position.

If it's an MVP list then it's Ryan Tannehill at #1 because he's the quarterback and that position is the most important on the team and he actually performed above average this year. But even if it were an MVP list, Cameron Wake would be very close to Tannehill in that regard.

If it's not an MVP list then #1 is Cameron Wake and I really don't see how that can be rationally argued unless you're stacking Branden Albert right next to him despite Albert's only playing about 8 games. Wake's pass rush productivity (15.2% pressure rate) was still RIDICULOUS regardless of a span of games where he looked human. Omar Kelly's theory that Cameron Wake is solely responsible for the poor run defense is positively ludicrous. As far as being a pass rusher goes, he was top 3 among all defensive ends in the NFL and his results were perfectly in-line with his absurd career.

    I would say...preliminarily...

    01. DE Cameron Wake
    02. LT Branden Albert
    03. SS Reshad Jones
    04. QB Ryan Tannehill
    05. CB Brent Grimes
    06. DT Jared Odrick
    07. WR Mike Wallace
    08. RB Lamar Miller
    09. LB Jelani Jenkins
    10. DE Olivier Vernon

    1. Tannehill - Offensive MVP, showed alot of improvement out there. Still has soem growing to do, but he kept us in several games this year, took a beating constantly, but still stood in there and made plays. Adjusted to a new offense well.
    2. Wake - Defensive MVP. Enough said really. I worry how much longer he's going to keep it up though. Feels as if he's wearing down based on how he disappears at times.
    3. Branden Albert - Solidified, and provided leadership on an awful group last year. Played solid when in there.
    4. Reshad Jones - I felt like you could really tell when he was out there multiple times this year. We missed him at the start. Not a turnover machine like I'd like, but makes alot of solid plays.
    5. Brent Grimes - Tailed off at the end of the season, yes, but for being a little guy, he's solid out there in coverage.
    6. Lamar Miller - Wasn't the #1 guy coming in, Wasn't used enough. Was banged up a bit, but had a solid year.
    7. Jelani Jenkins - Taclking Machine out there. Didn't get exposed alot. Played very, very well.
    8. Mike Wallace - Solid 10 TD's this year which was nice. Loved his effort sometimes, Hated it others though.
    9. Jarvis Landry - Impressive showing. Tough kid. Needs to improve his ball security.
    10. Olivier Vernon - Jared Odrick - This one is a toss up for me. They both deserve to be mentioned.

Not completely set on the order of these but it'll have to do.

    1. Ryan Tannehill - 92.8 rating with 4045 yds, 66.4% complete, 27 TD, 12 INT, behind 46 sacks. Miami's second best rusher (Sigh) with 56 carries and 311 yds, 5.6 per carry. Solid year behind a not so solid line. If nothing else, no one can say Tannehill has had it easy or been in luxury. Everything he's had he's had to fight for and make happen.
    2. Juwuan James - anyone hear of any issues coming off of the right or left side OL this whole season? Nope. Neither did I. He's a rookie for goodness sake. A 'stretch' pick that protected Ryan Tannehill all season long, shifted position, did the business. Could anyone have expected less from him? Yes. Did anyone expect this level of performance from him, especially after the move? No. Hoped maybe, but not expected. Someone get me a James jersey.
    3. Lamar Miller - Forget his individual improvement which is great. He carried the Dolphins run game in such a way that we were calling for the coaches to run the ball more. He improved, and ran hard all season. Anyone got any complaints? I don't. He can improve sure, but could we have asked more of him this season? Not me. 216 runs (with the second highest number, 56, being held by Tannehill o_0 ). 1099 yards, 5.1 avg on the carry. If he hadn't done that job this team might have ended up with an even worse result than last year.
    4. Cameron Wake - Team leader in sacks with 11.5 this season (closest after him is Vernon with 6.5) and also fumble recoveries with 3. Best defensive player on the squad. It's his heart and leadership that don't appear on the stat sheet though, and they push him right up their as one of the most valuable players on this team, if not the most valuable. Respected by everyone, feared by opponents. Even though he seemed to disappear in a couple of games you can't deny his leadership and contribution to this team. Best defensive scheme might see him even more dominant.
    5. Brent Grimes - 5 interceptions to lead the team and 6th overall in tackles. We all know he's a fighter and he always gets in the thick of it. Best player in the secondary and arguably the brings the most spark to the defense after Wake. Kept Miami contending in games where a worse corner would have left Miami torched. Remember there was a time when the defense was outscoring the offense?
    6. Jarvis Landry
    - Another rookie who was front and center. He shouldn't have had to be (remember when he was playing special teams and not starting at receiver?), but he was, right when he was needed to be. Lead receiver with 84 receptions, Wallace was number two with 67, and Landry had to take the knocks as a return specialist as well.
    7. Jelani Jenkins - The only LB who can actually tackle. Alright, not quite, but 110 combined tackles, 3.5 sacks (4th behind Wake, Vernon and Starks) and 2 fumble recoveries (tied with Vernon for second) in 14 games as the next man up. He lead the Dolphins in tackles. Closest was Reshad Jones with 80 and even then Jenkins had a 83 solo.
    8. Charles Clay - Miami's top receiving TE and arguably their best go-to play-maker, especially in a crunch. Third in receptions overall with 58 and providing 10.4 avg - usually yds in traffick. Other have better numbers but as Miami's lead TE his x-factor values move him up. If I had to choose either Clay or Wallace I'd go with Clay just for versatility/options, although it wouldn't be an easy choice.
    9. Mike Wallace - He might have been the number two receiver in terms of 67 receptions, behind Landry's 84, but he had the most yds overall with 862 and the highest average with 12.9. Hartline is in second with 12.2 (of 38 receptions) and Landry had 9.0. He fought more this year and, mostly, did what was asked of him. Of all the receivers, the Dolphins get the most yardage out of Wallace. If he's still on the roster next year (he will be), Lazor and Philbin should try to scheme more for him with T17 moving more and/or behind, hopefully, an even stronger OL. Offense would have been worse without him.
    10. Reshad Jones - 80 tackles (2nd), 3 interceptions (2nd), 1 fumble recovery and the most yards per interception of anyone with more than one INT (only him and Grimes) with 20.7 yds over Grimes' 16.0. He shows up on the field and without him the team would have been even worse in defense behind the line.

    Others of note:
Olivier Vernon - 46 tackles is only good for 10th but that's 10 more tackles than Wake and with Vernon's 6.5 sacks he's 2nd behind Wake. His two fumble recoveries demonstrate presence of mind and focus. At 24 he's still young and proving himself really valuable defensive talent.
Jared Odrick - 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery and 29 tackles put him mid-pack with some better than mid-pack awareness and talent. Solid and dependable.
Louis Delmas - 4th in tackles with 61 and a sack and an interception as well. Played with fire and definitely contributed to this team struggling in behind the line defense.
Koa Misi - 3rd in tackles with 66 and a sack. Misi played well enough despite the dodgy experiment. Another solid defender making his presence felt.

You did horrible by including Wallace in your top 10. Anyone who makes $1075,000.00 for three hours worth of work and consistently gives up on plays does not belong even in the top 50. When that guys quits because Clay gets to catch the TD pass...well, he suddenly doesn't belong in the top 1,000 league-wide. Mike Wallace is garbage.

I'm amazed anyone can come up with ten.
I got Wake, Odrick, Jenkins, Miller, Landry and maybe Tannehill. After that, the cupboard is pretty bare.
