Number one jersey for the team. Surprised about Hartline. Doesn't really say much for the team as a whole when Hartline is the only other player in the top-150. I mean, where's Caleb Sturgis? Hello?? If Miami is going to start making a name for themselves in the near future in the eyes of the "NFL fan", it is going to be through Tannehill. Tannehill is the only potential cash cow this team has. Ross knows it. I think we'll see more ways Ross tries to exploit his 'likeability' in 2015, especially if he gets off to a hot start. More likey, more money..... Link: HERE
Hartline ahead of Wallace and Wake? I don't know what to say about consumer knowledge in this case. They couldn't figure out during the season Hartline jerseys are destined for the discount rack the instant he is cut this offseason.
I'm not sure about everywhere else, but the ***** here only sell local teams and THE most popular other players. I couldn't buy a Fins jersey or anything else there if I wanted to.
Jason Taylor was the last Miami Dolphins player with NFL marketability. Cam Wake is that good, but gets no love from a national sense.
I don't know about you guys but I base my Jersey purchases off of who I think will be around. I know that's sad, but it probably explains why Hartline--coming off signing a long-term extension--had a slew of jerseys sold. Wake could be gone next year. Clay was a one-year wonder coming into this season. Landry we didn't know about. Our 1st round pick as well as our biggest off-season signing were Tackles. We don't have any stellar DBs or LBs aside from Grimes and he's a short term contract really.
Yeah, I kind of was thinking along those lines also, but am too lazy to look it up otherwise. Still interesting, nonetheless.
