right..and in the long their team will suffer the consequences..and their owners will suffer in their pockets.

ill pose this question, does anyone think paul allen, sea hawk fans, pete carroll and the players would trade their venue for jerry world or this atlanta fluff? not even close..

heres the depressing thing, in todays markets, century link would cost an estimated 564 million dollars to replicate...

thats why yes I'm happy, but will never accept the ignorance and downright stupidity.

Seattle is also not trying to host a super bowl. Keep that in mind. They no with their climate they never will. The NFL has made it very clear what they expect out of their super bowl venues, that is where we are heading with our remodel.

no, you can facilitate both sports in the type of venue i could design...Century link does it...Joe robbie just didn't have a clue, and obviously that ignorance continues to run rampid throughout the executive level.

i give some credit for our execs recognizing the problem finally, but with a little more they could rule the sports world.

Right, Seattle's climate limits them to what they can attract. seattle is not a four season destination city. Miami is. Ross would be insane to make a stadium with specs that only worked for the Dolphins. He's a Real Estate expert, I think I'll defer to him on this one.

whatta you talking about, I just said century link can facilitate football and soccer, so if we were to design with intimidation and intimacy as the main characteristics of the blueprint then what event wouldn't want to come.?...nothing I'm talking about deters any event from coming.

I know, the lack of understanding the concept goes way back..and obviously continues thru today, lol, even though theres a real solid business model that is flourishing right before their eyes...that fact just blows me a way and why i continue to call the suits dumasses.

VT, when I said football venue I was just using it like a metaphor, of course i would have everything from football to soccer, to monster truck, to concerts, and you know what, because of the design, every event that would showcase itself there, would be the best experience that particular event could possibly have..

I think that 24 feet closer is really going to make an impact. Unfortunately, if the people who can afford those seats just sit on their asses and golf clap, it still will not be very intimidating.

DJ I see you are very passionate about the stadium design, do you communicate this to the organization in any way?

I dont..been talking about an original concept since we left the orange bowl, but it always falls on deaf ears, or folks just tell me it really doesn't matter, until paul allen built his place, and whatta ya know, a revolution begun, and the proof is in the blueprint.but ya know what, itsstill hasn't been done the way it could done from a to z..

That looks sexy. I guess they need the upper corner sections for structural support for the roof?

Thanks for the pic. That answers a lot of questions, for sure. It looks good. The aqua seats are nice. I'd have made some of the sections navy myself.

The deep cuts into the corners on the lower level are odd. It appears that there are still tunnels behind the goal posts. Are those new tunnels in addition to the older ones?

Those would have been HOT in that south florida sun.

Aqua is going to hide the empty seats a bit better I think.

It reminds me of a bigger version of Wimbledon. I like it, but that's what it reminds me of.

Brilliant marketing and PR achieved this illusion.

People at home tune in for the product on the field. I thought this would be more obvious.

thats awesome man, very cool from what were dealing with, doesn't it look like their gonna saw off some o the top rows?, and remember those open spaces in the corners will be filled with big screens, and the one you see here removed i would imagine.

vt could you ask that to finkle?

this is really cool man, their really gonna change it to give us a chance to be competitive and let our fans have a voice..its beautiful.

wow, yeah with that roof and the screens right next to the fans engaging them into the game, we might have ourselves something..

also, finkle wrote that the last row of the lower bowl will be the same height as it is now.just the rake adjusted.

of course they do, but people all over the world are fascinated by this special venue..it lures people in...the opposing team is facing two opponents, the home team and the 12th man, isn't that the narrative now?....can a team go in there and beat both components...freakin brilliant...they did, they accomplished exactly what my concept was always about.

I think he meant that this is what it will look like for 2015 only. After the renovations are done, the vid screens and roof will be there in 2016.

its really smart to remove some seats and add the screen right in the middle of the fans, that will be part of the engagement..

The interior view reminds me of the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal play. Fine with me, as I like Arsenal. I would hope that the roof funnels some of the crowd noise back down to the field.

yup, the last row of that lower bowl will be 24 closer to where it stands as is...can anyone do a screen shot of those two distances? then you add the new rake...serious improvement.

There is a definite soccer stadium feel to it. Don't think that is bad though. Some of the rowdiest, craziest, loudest fans follow the other football. As long as that giant canopy keeps the sound from escaping SLS could be pretty crazy to play at. Will be much more enjoyable during a hot September day thats for sure.

Going to open them underneath, allows for a nice open concourse on the 2nd deck. Increases involvement for those getting food/drinks
