I think Lebron is checking out on Blatt, I think they can him and hire Mark Jackson maybe before the year is out.

I'm not a basketball expert by any stretch but what exactly is Blatt doing, or not doing, that has so rankled LeBron?

Does he just assume that he will hate every coach he has?

He was actually 10 pts on 5-10 with 12 rebs and 3 blocks....

but point taken..he performed well, against a team that applies a lot of pressure on a center.

    I got scrambled there, lol.

But I think the guy is good. We're moving beyond fluke territory.

Why did Stan Van Gundy get fired by Shaq and Dwight Howard? Why did Doug Collins get fired by MJ? In the NBA when your star player wants you gone the owner usually goes with the star player. I think Lebron has been after Mark Jackson from the get go and Blatt is just the unfortunate fall guy here. He was hired before Lebron was headed there and Lebron of course wants his coach there because he is the Chosen One so its kind of petty and silly but it is what it is.

Nate Robinson and Jordan Farmer are available. Sign at least one of them please Mr. Riley.

Not enough cocaine to get me to root for either of those options.

One is a bit of a ball hog. And he's undersized and not as athletic as he used to be.

The other has ears that would qualify him as too aerodynamically unsound for this defense. Okay maybe this is unfair, as I've never actually seen Jordan Farmar play in an nba game.

Neither one is gonna be a savior. But our current options at G are lacking. We need help. Heck we need depth. I'd give them a minimal contract for this year. We need band aid solutions right now.

Up 22 points after the 1st quarter. Harden putting on a show for his old team tonight. Best trade in Rockets' history. Go for 50, Beard!

I thought Harden played better with KD then Russ anyways. Also thought Thunder should of traded Russ for Rondo, I thought Rondo would of been a perfect PG for KD.

uh..problem is that Russ is 10x the player Rondo is.

Russ could easily be a top 5 NBA player..very soon.

FYI things are very hot regarding the Nets-Hornets-Thunder 3 team deal with Lopez (to OKC), Stephenson (to NJ) and Jack/Lamb (to Charlotte). Charlotte wants to hit the reset button on the Stephenson deal.

Whiteside getting more minutes is worth exploring. It's not particularly relevant if he starts or not. People need to get over the starting concept. It doesn't matter when he comes in, it matters how long he's out there.

So you think its better to start Birdman who gets burnt out by the 2nd Q?

Per Woj, Heat offered Bird, McBob and Cole to Nets for Brook Lopez, who promptly leaked that info.

That's barely an offer but I do like Riley just testing how desperate they are.

Let's see, an injured stretch 4, a 35 year old energy big and Norris Cole for a good when healthy Center.

At least we're looking around. Afflalo is the guy we should be trying to get

Stephenson, even with his issues, is still a better player than anything the Heat was offering.

And his contract is team friendly.

You're wedded to McBob for another 3 years

I didn't want Lopez anyway. He doesn't really fit what a C should be in Riley's system (Bosh and Bird don't really either). He's hurt more often than not and I'm not sure what he has left anyway. Glad some other team suckered into taking him.

Regardless, it would have been a great trade for us, just long term planning wise.

Even if Lopez opted in for next year, he'd still be off the books in 2016. And at that point Bosh/Napier/Ennis and maybe Cole would be the only guys guaranteed to be under contract. McBob is going to be a $5 million albatross 2 years from now

We'd have enough for two maxes comfortably, maybe a 3rd depending on how much the cap rises,

3 team OKc-Nets-Denver deal supposedly dead.

Maybe they'll have to take our garbage (Bird not included as garbage)

    Hornets, excuse me.

Supposedly now the talks are just OKC and Brooklyn centered on Lopez for Kendrick Perkins.

    Pure salary dump for Brooklyn.

I'd like to get in on it though I'd guess the necessary inclusion of McBob is the sticking point.

If Lopez opts out we could have max cap space this off season

Russia's economy is imploding and their owner is losing money. Suddenly he can't afford an NBA team and have one of the highest payrolls in the league. I had a feeling they would implode. Jay-Z needs to buy that team already.

The guy is still majorly wealthy.

He wanted a title in 5 years, it didn't happen, and it looks like it won't happen anytime soon.

He doesn't care enough to see it through

Jay Z cant afford it... maybe if he put together a group. His net worth has been incredibly exaggerated and he only owns a stock of the team worth 300 grand... Also because he runs a sports agency now he cant own a team.

It will be a popular buy but This guy will try to sell it based on the Clippers price.
