To be honest I wish they kept Williams over Gibson.

However, this does fan the flame of my Gibson should have been cut last year opinion.

That is the gawd damned truth. Players with strong personalities make Joe a little queasy.

Cam newton has a history of being a decent deep passer, and that's before Benjamin. He's regressed a bit this year though, due to whatever reason. He looked terrible on touch passes.

Wallace's problem in miami wear's #11. You want to be better in the offense, get chemistry with the QB. Stay after practice and work with the QB. In the offseason work with the QB.

Funny I've never heard anyone complain about Roethlisbergers deep ball and Wallace played 4 years with him and not once did he reach your "minimum" 1300 yards.

He's untradable from the standpoint that you aren't going to get near what his talent/ability is worth based on his contract. Sure... we could easily trade him for a 7th round pick... but that isn't reasonable. So, he's untradable for all intents and purposes...

I would actually give up a 7th-round pick to get a team to take on his contract, and I doubt there would be any takers.

Since Brady isnt very good at throwing the deepball i say we just trade him to NE. Maybe extend Hartline

The Raiders are neck deep in salary cap this offseason, I think close to 60 mil by the time the new league year begins. They might give us a pick, maybe even a mid round pick.

Teams like the perennial losers that the Raiders are, don't exactly reel in the top tier free agents.

They are the most WR needy team in the league and they have tradition to maintain, overpaying for speed.

It's not like they could just wait for him to be cut; he would never choose them if he became a free agent. The same goes for the Jaguars or Titans. Wallace will choose a team in free agency that has a QB that is a proven passer, especially one who can lay it in there on deep routes.

He was pretty good throwing the deep ball when Moss was there?

If Al Davis was still alive, we would of gotten 3 first round picks for Wallace and the deal would of already been done. Al Davis loved speedy players.

Of course they don't. #11 and #17 had much better chemistry overall this season than they did last. Everything but the deep passes. That could come this year, as long as Queasy and the rest of the stooges don't do something dumb like cut or trade Wallace.

Wallace is a mirror for THill's short comings, ditto Bline, it is not as if either Wr suddenly forgot how to play the position.

Reminds me of how Brandon Marshall and Henne could never quite work things out in the red zone, it is not that Marshall forgot how to score Td's

Qb makes the Wr, not the other way around for example look at Wr's with Peyton Manning and without Manning.

Wallace cannot throw himself the ball, that is on #17.

Because he had foot surgery, a rib injury, car accident, and wasn't healthy all year you mean?
