We wouldn't know....because we have never seen a deep ball hit him there. I welcome you to show me a link though. :knucks:

Went as a rookie and then again in year 4. He was the first one I checked.

I thought his first appearance was in his second year?

He didn't win as a rookie as far as I remember

On the first long pass, he hit the open spot on the Cover 2. For some reason they go to Cover 0 on the winning play.

Why would you ever go to Cover 0 when one play can decide who goes to the SB?

Carrolls was a great example of being aggressive where the other team is not expecting it. Different than just banging your head against the other teams strength. I agree they were way to conservative late in the game though.

Everything you have been preaching for the past 5 years was validated today. Down 12, no offense and the game was OVER. Not one soul left that stadium. If the Dolphins punted down 12 at the 50 with 5 minutes left, half the place would have left and the other half would have been booing. Instead, the Seattle fans are still as loud as if the team was up 3 when GB gets the ball.

Incredible homefield. That homefield advantage won the game for Seattle. I'm in awe of those fans.

Yep, you're right. I didn't do my math right. Went in year 2 (2001) and year 5 (2004).

some people would say otherwise but i agree. its a team game. i mean look at today. wilson was absolutely atrocious and yet they still won in spite of the qb play. just imagine tannehill with a team even closely resembling the seahawks other 21 guys

Wilson still played like **** all game. Bottom line, if Seattle's defense didn't keep then in the game, then Wilson's gimmicky running doesn't matter. That being said, he made two huge throws in OT. Props.

jftr it was and has never been about that, its a completely separate debate, folks who were calling wilson average and overrated and every other thing, thats what that debate was about...he made three great throws in a row in the most pressured conditions ever to take his team to the Super Bowl for the 2nd consecutive year and he did it with his legs and arms..like he aways does..

We never run deep passes to the post and I don't think we've ever seen Cover 0.

Tannehill must not be that bad if we are comparing him to Luck and Wilson. It feels good to have a QB that we can actually compare to anyone decent.

We have seen him throw up his alligator arms, stop running mid route, give up on plays, get spun around and run the wrong route.

Well hopefully this game won't end in a gut wrenching collapse that is hard to watch. God that choke was hard to watch and I couldn't care less who wins.

Hey - I am not a huge fan of his style and I would take T-Hill before him. But he is a gamer, a winner and a face of the NFL.

I will be rooting for him in the big game.

By the way, Brandon Marshall tweeted that Bostick should have been blocking for Jordy to catch that onside kick. Sad I bet that guy really regrets that. Nelson was right behind him he should have done his job.

I was rooting for Green Bay all game, but it sure feels nice to see them lose in the same fashion they so often win.

A little karmic revenge for what they did to us and Dallas this year.

Maybe the problem goes a bit deeper. Our coach came from that environment and the outcome today was very Philbin-esque.

I am pulling for the Colts in the next game.

I would love to see the two best QB's in the 2012 draft match up in this years SB. Unfortunately I don't think the Colts will be able to beat the Patriots in New England.

You can't really blame McCarthy.. They were DOMINATING on D. There was no reason to believe that Seattle could pull that type of comeback.

Oh I am well aware but those series of events only seems to happen when you're on your heels. Besides, they stopped being aggressive on offense in the fourth. That's on McCarthy.

Why get aggressive? You have the lead, the Seattle offense was unable to do anything. You force them to waste time outs and run the clock down as far as possible.
