This guy is something else, so fast and quick, strong as well : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhHv8L6cp-E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MQfLnZl4o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_KRXtfqX1w This is probably what we were expecting in Dion Jordan... who btw I haven't given up on at all if he's moved to OLB and drops that extra weight. Gregory's hand use at the LOS is more reminiscent of Andre Tippett than Jordan- and that's a good thing, for Gregory. He shows more moves at 2:10 of the last clip than Jordan did all year.
he aint getting near us thats for sho lol...fine prospect..last year I stayed a way from Clowney, (just saw some red flags in the lower body, and liked Anthony Barr better) I like the overall package here better as well, should go top 5.
While he possesses elite speed, he can't or won't put on weight, which confuses me because everyone I know says he LOVES him some weed(I know for a fact he failed 4 in house drug tests, but wasn't punished by Pelini, which caused static on the team). He also takes plays off and doesn't really play tough against the run. On the upside, he is freakishly fast and wouldn't be at a disadvantage if he had to line up against a slot as an OLB. EDIT: the Husker I would absolutely love to see teams go chase would be Ameer Abdullah, producing what he did behind as terrible of an OL as he did was amazing. Also a stand up guy who shouldn't get himself in any trouble.
Not quite what you were expecting, or a problem that is already well known? I definitely wouldn't be shocked to see Gregory show up on the drug test failure list at the combine.
Yes. Very much so. It's a running joke among those that I know that are connected to the program. I also question his work ethic as well. He can't seem to put on any weight. I think he played at around 230 last year IIRC. His knee injury was minor, and he appeared to use that as a reason to kind of shut it down for the draft IMO.
