Current status: watchin' some of my 10 Pro Bowlers from last year's team, including the pass rush triumvirate of Wake-Miller-Donald. Not bad considering the real Seahawks had 5 Pro Bowlers. All that effort to acquire an extra draft pick to use on Donald paid off. [could've been 13 w/ a Randall Cobb trade, Russell Wilson not playing in the SB, and Moreno not getting hurt ]
Man, Sheldon Richardson has gotten himself into great shape. Thought "91" was Cam Wake for a second on that deflected pass.
Here is an interesting template for comparisons sake when voting at the end...assuming you agree with the evaluations to begin with ofcourse. http://espn.go.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/12179331/how-many-players-away-super-bowl-was-team My Titans are 11 good/elite players away from being a SB caliber team....can I get a redo?
Canada's team now biatches! And get those filthy dreams of Dez Bryant out of your heads. I will find a way to keep him short of a blockbuster deal (and I'm talking bigger then last years Gordon deal!)
By the way, as anyone who knows my GM League history should be aware, everyone on the Lions is available for the right price. That includes Megatron, Stafford, etc.
The 5 team remaining aren't all that terrible to GM if you ask me. Hey maybe Boik can get Pitt for the 3rd time in 4 years.
Actually Dallas' cap situation isn't as bad as I thought. OTC has them at $7,488,384 but they also have $7,953,849 in dead cap money that won't apply. So I'll be starting around $15 in cap room. Not great...but not dire either.
You guys are going to have to give me a bit, I'll be at work today and I was going to take the Rams but since they are not avilable, I need a bit of time. Sorry for the hold up.
Excited to lead Denver out of the Manning era. Any interest in him let me know. Its too early to do anything obviously but the feelers are out.
It's good to see two quality GM's stepping up and taking the Saints/Cowboys. Looking at the remaining teams, not surprising to see the Pats there, but IMO the other three are solid. I had considered the Steelers/Ravens with my pick. Both teams have a lot of talent. And it's pretty easy to spot the weaknesses on each as well. I guess their cap situations aren't the greatest but that can always be moved around.
Actually it gets even better. Free's contract voids soon and Melton's option won't be picked up. So if I had to make a guess Dallas will be around $27 million to start without making moves in cap room.
Steelers and Ravens were number 6 and 7 on my initial lists of teams. Really surprised they fell so far.
Well, Steve-Mo hasn't logged in since January 15th. I'm in the works of finding a replacement now. I was going to let that person choose between Pittsburgh and New England.
